I pass by these building s everydasy( i park my car on St-Jacques street) and I get to see them rise in the sky...the design isn't great, but it ain't too bad either. Too bad it'll be lacking in the Quality department!

This would have been the ideal place for a 50 story skyscraper;
expos park would look awesome too, right by Centre Bell.

Very bland, boxy shape. Nothing there really, apart from density

^ Yes I was disappointed with what went up there, it could have been much more than that.I don't like the way the buildings look, it looks cheap and bland, IMO.At least we didn't get stuck with some sort of Bell Centre parking garage...

I think the real tragedy here is that this is build in Griffintown, an old Irish neighbourhood has been going downhill for last 50 years. I immagine that this will spur on further development of the same kind and the original spirit of the place will be gone forever.

I wouldn,t say they destroyed any historic homes to build this. It was a huge empty lot,that was supposed to be the place where they were gonna build teh Expos Ballpark. Griffintown is a bit further to teh south and closer to the Bonaventure expressway.

Does anyone have those pictures prior to 2001? When nothing was built and it was vacant land?
Regards
