I really can't wait to see this area in a year with all these new contructions finished.

i don't like the designs, look like modern commie blocks. It needs alot more glass on it's exterior, at least it will bring more people downtown. What other developments are going on in the area?

Both Lépine Towers as well as the Roc Fleuri will add some density to this already dense area of the core!

Although I don't think the company is going ahead with it...

This tower (first called Place Milenium) was approved some time ago but the problem has arrisen that the promoter can't find an anchor tenant and thus it is stuck in limbo for now.

Hines(the promoter) was looking for an anchor tenant of about 125,000 sq.feet...unfortunately, the demand for new office space just wasn't there...especially considering that the asking rates for this new tower were above 50$ per sq. foot and that there are some spaces available in existing class "A" towers going for 40$ per sq. foot.
