Hopefully the building will cover up that ugly wall on the high rise behind it

You can find more information about this project on the official website (http://www.beauxarts.ca/index_en.htm). I visited this construction site back in december for a school work I had to complete. It is a 21 floors residential project. This is a high wealth construction, smallest appartments costing as much as 650K$. The top floors penthouses (one of the two is already sold) retail price is set around 1,7M$. The seven townhouses you see in front of the highrise are also part of the project. the middle one is to be transformed into a two stories entrance hall, while the 6 others will be sold as "urban villas". They have an inner court on second floor, with radiant floor tiling, to prevent snow from building up during winter.

The apartments are sold "as is", with concrete finish and no inner separation. But they do provide interior designer for the buyers who does not have personal architects...

The leftmost townhouse isn't part of the project because the current owner refused to sell for a final price of 6M$.

I guess this is the first time an old base is kept before a taller residential U/C ?

The crane has been removed for a good month, the building is still under construction, mostly interior completition.
