When i went to Doha for a weekend about a month ago, i remember reading about a 50 odd story tower, a 'smart' tower, it was also said to be the tallest building in Qatar...Whats this all about!?

I hope it's clear, in front of City Center, behind Dolphin Tower, but on the right of W Hotel...it can not be accessed from the road though, that's why it can't easily be seen..

If I pass by the area today sure thing.

the project has been paused due to the asian games..... this was the decision by the main contract due to high costs in everything and delay in shipments at that time....... construction has started again they are now working on the basement levels... and it should start appearing very soon......

Actually, if you take a look in the construction, you can see a square foundation with steel columns out. So, not that far advanced.

Don't get me wrong loads of towers is good but this one just doesn't say anything new its just another tower, there are loads of fantastic towers on the drawing boards this one is just a bit boring, but lets wait for the cladding it might turn out acceptable

Great ! but to be honest, what really caught my eyes in that picture was the beach tower on the right i mean wow !!!! it has glass and the glass roof is forming !!!

On Barjeel Tower they have started the cladding, which is dark blue somewhat like Dolphin Tower...

As this street is going downward, i always thought it would be good to continue it further and build a tunnel directly leading to West Bay... a kind of short tunnel that would be so helpful leading directly to the towers district...hehe I like this idea!!

They're planning to open in April. Although providing some hotel services, their focus isn't on the hotel.

This time there's a difference, it's a focus on residences and suites.
