Good News! Crystal de la Montagne

I was walking by the Crystal de la Montagne last friday, and I noticed some bulldozers on the lot. And earlier this week they actually started to dig!

THe damn thing was 85% sold in the span of two months. You'd think they would have added 5 to 10 floors. This is gonna be a beautiful building, it just needs a few floors more!

Where is that building located exactly?

ON the North Western corner of René-Lévesque Blvd. and De la Montagne Street. It'll be located across the street from the E-Commerce Center.

This will probably become one of the top 3 best looking buildings in this city!

for sure the most ecclectic building in Montreal, nice addition to very boxy 70-ies skyline, especially around Rene Levesque. Remainds me of some of the modern Russian architecture ...

One Problem with this:
It will roughly be about the same size as the CCE so will we be able to see it from the front?

You are to blame

great looking building, but a little more height would have been fantastic, maybe the developers next building will be taller because of the demand for this one

My thoughts exactly. I would have loved to have seen this building with 37floors instead of 27 floors.

I hope this developper decided to go ahead with another project. This building was 85% sold in the span of 3 months...and the units don't come cheap!

If by the fornt ou mean from the south side, then NO you won'T see it cause it'll be shorter than E-Commerce Center 1.

^ Another reason to add on 10 floors

an extra 10 floor will definitely add a vibe to the skyline !

I would think that adding 10 floors is a viable option considering the speed at which the thing sold the first 80%. Perhaps someone could drop by the sales office and see if there is an official floor count.

This is great! But Montreal needs TALLER buildings!

SKYMTL,

I can tell you that they will build the thing with 27 floors. COnstruction has already started
