DOHA: The grand Regency Hotel is “only the first phase of regency group’s series of investments in the vibrant hospitality industry.
The luxurious 5-star hotel will open soon providing second to none facilities in Qatar.
The 192-room hotel located at in Al Sadd area, also features 21 suites divided into 3 categories – executive, corner and pavilion. Among the restaurants, one offers Lebanese cuisine, another Moroccan and third Chinese, in additional to an all day dining restaurant.
The Moroccan restaurant was said to be the first of its kind in the capital. Grand Regency Hotel will be offering Qatar’s very first state of the art facilities to accommodate from the most enthusiastic sports gore to busiest individuals.
The hotel will be hosting visitors who will arrive Doha for next years Asian Games. By 2006 the hotel will be extended to add 100 more guest rooms, a spa, health club, a wedding and conference hall accommodating up to 1,000 people, swimming pool and a double basement car park.
---------------------------------------
I think its a good idea to spread the hotels around Doha instead of creating one road with twenty 5 star hotels. Also, this is new as it is a national brand owned by private people instead of the government.
