For such a long time I've built a collection of pics of my lovely city Doha. I won't take pics from touristy websites or any such source. All these pics are either from some of my friends in flickr.com how share their pics in "Qatar Group" or are my pics.

A beatiful picture by "Al ajanabi" of Doha's changing Skyline. Its still young but growing it very fast !

The Al Zubarah Castle in Northern Qatar. Many wars have been waged for the right to rule this Castle. Today it stands as a reminder for the people who gave their lives to this blessed land. Thanks to "Al ajanabi."

The pride of Qatar. More and more young Qataris are taking up motorsports profesionally. This is Losail Motorbike Team. A elite group singled from over 72 bikers. Today, Mishal Al-Naomi, who proved to be the best, is training in Spain to hopefully join the MotoGP. Thank you "Qatarbiker."

what do u mean by "the doha u never seen"? u haven't brought up something new or unfamiliar, we're sick'n'tired of seeing this pics over & over, either in travel sites, gov info sites or postcards, regardless if the pic was taken by a professional or amature photographer.

by the way, who claimes that motorbikers are the proud of qatar? and when al nouami ever won a contest?

Its a shame coz i really spent so much time putting this thread togther. I had the pictures for such a long time and taking these pic took me a lot of time and effort. I had many more, but since the thread is gone crazy then i see no point in bothering myself. Its a shame i swear, the time i wasted.

i'm wondering, just wondering, what creativity lays in taking few shots of places i, among others, have seen many times to the point of death? the title of the thread simply says 'doha u never see' so, isn't our right to object when some1 tries to supply us with false infos? correct me if i'm wrong, i thought ur policy, the moders. beside monitoring the site, is to ensure the real & authantic statements & facts to the members. but what surprises me most, is the attitude of some memebrs who spent long years in britain, the country who interduced the magna carta and democracy to the world, yet they are banning others from experssing their veiws, and encouraging u, moders. to delete us from the forum, like as if they were raised in some dictatorship country, where freedom of speech is unheard of. well, tough luck for them, and for u too, moders. bcoz i joined the forum to open it, read it carefull & throughly and discuss the threads with the members, as long i'm keeping my self-esteemed & honesty in telling the truth as it is. but, i wasn't brought up to be an a** kisser, bcoz i'm sure there's plenty of them out there, and they're doing a hell of a good job!

I've been here 3 years in this forum, probably the first guy in the whole mideast section (if am not wrong) and you're the first guy to complain about the title in such a way. It's not a law trial for God's sake.

I might agree with some of what wakrah-wi-bas said; although, he could have expressed his point of view in a more polite and gentle way. Throwing insults is not a form of democracy or being liberal.

Personally, I loved the pictures. They are diverse and show the past and the present in a template for the near future. I have never been to Qatar, but I hope that I will be able to visit it regularly through the causeway :)

there's 4 airports in uae, 3 airlines with direct flights 2 doha, 1 international highway, simply chose what suits u better, and don't be reluctant or lazy...wi 7ayak allah fi do7at el jamyi3.

P.S There are more than four airports in UAE (unless you meant that only four can fly me to Qatar then I don’t know). The current Airlines, I recall, in UAE are six: Emirates, Al Itihad, Al Arabiya, Al Khaleej(soon will be to Bahrain only if not already), Royal Jet(private) and Al Ameeri(The royal airways for UAE which is mainly used by the sheikhs and for sending patients abroad. I am not sure about the correct naming in English though)

5ubrek 3atij, the saudi border customs have improved drastically, as a friend who used to visit abu dhabi have told me, the staff are nicer, the checking process is faster...maybe i'm dreaming, w'd some1 pinch me plz?

and as for ur suggestion for him to go and see bahrain, i really didn't expect u to be so mean as to give the man heart attack when he sees all the 'misery stripe" of areas and villages that surrounds manama & muharaq. so, my friend (with total reservation) bahrain is not only al seef centre!!!!!

What a nice reply, and you tell me earlier, I know better. You get very offensive when you mention comments, ya it's a free forum but use the proper style (let me remind you of the bridge thread which I closed). Can't you use some humour rather than plain attacks, and you seem to hate Bahrain, full stop. If you don't like us that much, don't go bashin and bashin in every thread you get an attempt and stop makin the country sound like hell. It's not the first thread you do this in.

I'd suggest you get your style together and avoid lettin me close another thread cause then we'll have somethin to worry about, or let me say you.
