SteelCity32 February 26th, 2003, 12:44 AM boxy, but majestic.
7/10
NYClover February 26th, 2003, 01:55 AM I guess I'll comment. :)
Some of my ultimate favorite skyscrapers in the entire city.
The hats are really nice and the setbacks are neat. I guess they are a BIT boxy, but they definately are majestic and they impact on the skyline. They looked great wrapped around the WTC. Plus, if they werent there, You would be able to plainly see Ground Zero from the Hudson River and New Jersey.
9.5/10
Wu-Gambino February 26th, 2003, 04:44 AM Reminds me of WTC. I like it. 7
RafflesCity February 26th, 2003, 05:54 PM 8/10
Nice assortment of roofs. They front the skyline very well.
Daniel8ty8 February 27th, 2003, 03:40 AM I like the World Financial Center. They look better from some angles then others, and fortunately, those are the ones that are the most visible. Plus, I think the whole complex is a perfect waterfront project.
7.5
Ptarmigan March 4th, 2003, 07:12 AM 9.5/10. Really cool building. Stands out well. World Financial Center looks better with the World Trade Center though.
Francis20 March 6th, 2003, 02:38 PM they are a landmark, well reminds us of the then stunning Twin Towers. You will feel nostalgic tho when you look upon them!
8.5/10!
renell March 6th, 2003, 07:03 PM nice set of roofs.. hmm.. i like this 7

Chad March 9th, 2003, 09:53 AM Pharaoh of Alexandria's Lighhouse of the 20th Century.
9.5/10
New Jack City March 9th, 2003, 06:35 PM 9/10- The WFC is amazing, it always seems to blend in somehow. From the Hudson, it's as if the WFC is instructing you too look up into the skies, to see the then Twin Towers. I guarantee you will enjoy them even more up close.
The Messiah March 10th, 2003, 07:27 PM I really like these towers allot.First of all they look good. And secondly they remind me of the WTC.
8.5/0

boxy but elegant.
james2390 May 15th, 2004, 06:02 PM 10/10, This is one of the coolest projects ever. The assortment of tops and setbacks is amazing. How could you hate these? Weren't they also designed by Cesar Pelli?
SeeMacau May 17th, 2004, 11:35 AM Really cool design !! I like it very much !!
9.5/10
Monkey May 20th, 2004, 09:02 AM 8.5/10
7 World Trade June 24th, 2004, 01:40 AM the setbacks and the window arrangements really make those buildings soar! they complemented the box-style twin towers well. truly american-style postmodernism at its best.
perferred it having copper-colored roofs though. but i guess the current colors will do. and 4 wfc should be taller. it looks a bit too squat.
9.5

LibertyTwo July 17th, 2004, 01:26 AM I liked WFC when the WTC was standing
Now, it is to me a sad reminder of that day.
They look like 3 children of lost parents looking up and asking what to do now, and if anyone will adopt them ;-(
They need a parent, a taller, sleek tower behind then to give them guidance, unfortunately they are getting Freedom Tower, but maybe they will once again be reclaimed back into the lower Manhattan skyline, because right now, they look lost and misplaced there...
Menino de Sampa July 17th, 2004, 03:07 AM These "survivors" are really cool,I like tham a lot. 9/10. :okay:
