Yesterday vibrations that shook windows and even entire buildings, broke glass and shattered an aqaurium.. people reported loosing balance and even a door that had curved, they were certain there must have been a very big earthquake during the late hours of the night. But nothing was reported on the news, so people thought it was a rocket, bomb blast or a supersonic boom bu the army says it was not supersonic flight booms, no earthquake or high wind was measured and no blasts,
so what was it?
Hundreds of people felt it from the north to the center, even rumors of ufo's, galactic sun/stars activity that hit earth or that it is a new secret soundwave megaweapon that may have been tested?!

(I also woke up from noise and saw the windows shaking very unusually at about 1 am, I went out to see if it was maybe a cat or something, I thought it was wind)

עשרות גולשים, מאזור חיפה וזכרון יעקב ועד השפלה מדווחים ל-ynet על רעשים בעוצמה גבוהה ותנודות חזקות שחשו במהלך הלילה (יום ו'). במכון הססמולוגי מתעקשים כי לא מדובר ברעש אדמה אלא ברעש שמקורו בגלי קול.

גם במשטרה מעריכים כי מדובר ב"בומים על-קוליים" שביצעו מטוסי צה"ל בדרך לתקיפות הלילה ברצועה, אולם בצבא מתעקשים כי לא היתה שום פעילות חריגה של חיל האוויר בשמי הארץ.

דובר משטרת מחוז מרכז, סגן ניצב יגאל חדד, אומר כי הרבה מאוד טלפונים הגיעו הלילה למוקד 100 של משטרת מחוז מרכז על ידי אזרחים שדיווחו על הפיצוצים ששמעו. "האזרחים דיווחו על הפיצוצים שנשמעו מאזור ראשון לציון ועד נתניה. אזרחים רבים דיווחו כי הפיצוץ הגיע מכיוון הים. אנשי משטרה ששמעו בעצמם את הפיצוץ אמרו כי הפיצוצים נשמעו כבומים על קוליים. אנחנו עדיין לא יודעים מה פשר הפיצוצים שנשמעו, גם באמצע השבוע היו דיווחים דומים".

במוקד 100 של משטרת מחוז תל אביב מדווחים כי בין השעות 2:00 ל-3:00 לפנות בוקר התקבלו מספר קריאות מאזרחים מודאגים על קולות נפץ באזור הרצליה, אולם הנושא נבדק ולא נמצא דבר.

משטרת חיפה קיבלה טלפונים במהלך הלילה מתושבי רצועת החוף בעתלית, בחיפה ובקריות. גם במוקד העירוני בחיפה התקבלו טלפונים של אזרחים שדיווחו על רעידת אדמה כביכול. אבל לא היו נזקים.

שגרת פיצוצים בשרון

הפיצוצים הליליים הפכו השבוע לשיגרה בשרון. בימים האחרונים נתקבלו דיווחים נוספים על פיצוצים נוספים שנשמעו באזור הרצליה. גם באירועים האלו לא התברר מה פשר הפיצוצים.

התושבים באזור הביעו דאגה רבה מקולות הנפץ העזים: "אנחנו לא יודעים אולי זה קאסם שנחת בשדות והתפוצץ אך לא גרם לנזק ואף אחד לא ראה את מקום נפילתו או אולי מדובר בסתם בומים של מטוסי חיל האוויר אם אכן מדובר בבומים על קוליים יואיל הצבא להפסיק לעשות אותם בשעות כאלה ובמיוחד לאחר פיגועים וכך יחסוך לנו חרדות מיותרות".

"זה היה פיצוץ מפחיד, השמשות של הבית רעדו והרגשנו איך כל הבית מזדעזע", סיפר ל-ynet הלילה תושב קדימה, "הדבר הראשון שעלה בראש שזה פיגוע. בגלל השעה המאוחרת חשבנו שבטח זה פיגוע באיזה מועדון צעירים שכאלה יש הרבה באזור. עוד לא הצלחנו להבין את הפיצוץ הראשון ומספר דקות לאחריו אירע הפיצוץ השני. גם הפעם שמשות הבית רעדו וכל הבית הזדעזע. ושוב אותן מחשבות רעות רצות בראש".

תושב אחר בשרון, נכנס לחרדה וסיפר: "דבר ראשון בדקתי שהילדים נמצאים במיטות, וכשראיתי שהם ישנים נרגעתי. אחרי הפיצוצים יצאתי החוצה לבדוק אם קרה משהו אולי לשמוע סירנות של כוחות ההצלה אבל הכל היה שקט.

תושב הרצליה סיפר ל-ynet: "בסביבות השעה שתיים חזרתי מבילוי אצל חברים. לפתע הרעיד רעש אדיר את האזור, הדלת הראשית וכל חלונות הבית זזו. חשבתי שאולי מדובר בהשפעת האלכוהול מליל אמש. אבל אז החלו כמה אזעקות כלי-רכב לפעול וכלבים נבחו בבהלה. כנראה שזה מה שמרגישים בעזה ובלבנון כשאנחנו מפגיזים אותם בבומים על-קוליים...".

השכנים יצאו לרחובות, האקווריום התנפץ

עידו גולדברג ממערב ראשון לציון סיפר ל-ynet: "בסביבות השעה שתיים וחצי בלילה, חלק מהשכנים ישנו והורגשו רעידות. כל המבנה של הווילה והתריסים רעדו כאילו מישהו נידנד את הבית. כל השכנים יצאו לרחוב, חלק הרגישו כאילו מישהו קופץ להם על הגג".

גולש אחר מחולון דיווח כי האקווריום בביתו התנפץ והמים נשפכו ממנו כתוצאה מעוצמת התנודות בבית. גם גולשים מבת ים ומהשרון סיפרו על הרעש החזק שהורגש, על בתים שרעדו, חלונות שהתנפצו ומיטות שזזו.

יבגני שרמן, צעיר משכונת רמת אשכול מחיפה מספר ל-ynet כי דלת ביתו נעקרה מהמקום. הוא העריך כי מדובר ברעש אדמה דווקא: "שלשום בלילה חשנו ברעידה אחת. והיום שוב אישתי איבדה את שיווי המשקל. התעקמה לי הדלת. היא לא נסגרת טוב. לדעתי, היתה רעידה אדמה מאוד חזקה שהורגשה במשך כמה שניות. הילדים שאלו מה זה והם מאוד פחדו.

"זה לא היה בום של פיצוץ, אלא כל הבניין רעד – החלונות, הקירות, הכל. אני גר בבית קרקע, וזה היה מפחיד, כי זה נמשך שניות ארוכות. ממש שמעתי צלצולים מהתנודות בחלונות".

yes and Ive been feeling it for the past two nights at very late hours and very big vibrations rattling the shades so it just makes it seem something secretive.. otherwise why would it be 1-3 am each night?!

yes it could be a sound-waves weapon of some kind, the army uses those against protesters on the fence because its harmless, maybe they amplified it to see what happens. anyway I can assure you it was with no noise whatsoever, not even like the sound of earthquakes, you just felt things shaking for no reason in a weird pattern.

actually I thought it could be a burglar when I woke up so my heart jumped and I went out to see what it was but there was nothing.

I thought someone was climbing my window as well, anyway lets be productive. From the responses in ynet we can summarize:

*It was felt not necessarily in the same time, but some claim that there were many cases in the night.

*We have a dilemma since it seems it traveled slower then the speed of sound.

*Was felt mostly on the coastline, but no waves fallowed.

*In most cases no sound fallowed.

From this we can only conclude that it doesn’t fit any possible explanation, its not: an underwater nuclear detonation, an supersonic boom, an underground detonation, low frequency sound weapon.

now that I think of it, the shaking was even more weird because in my case at least it wasnt all the windows, just those facing south, and very very strong just like someone was banging on them really hard. It was so hard that I was sure 100 percent that someone must eb behind the window doing it, so I jumped to look if someone was there.

and absolutely no sound before or after. In haifa sometimes theres shaking when the navy base fires training shots, this was totally totally different.

I find the timing issue to be a strange part of it. Think about it source, so many people remember the exact time, but it is different from story to story. It no later then 1am here, and Amazingly you described it just as it happened to me – my window faces south, my parents window faces north! They felt nothing(!) while I felt like someone grabbed the shutter and shaked it with much force for a couple of seconds (3-4). I felt it the day before yesterday as well and maybe another time this week, but not that strong. It wasn’t like in a thunder storm though.

yes I was sitting in the living room that faces north and has very big windows overlooking haifa bay so any sonic boom or navy exercise would surely be felt first there and then the dining room has big windows about 4 sqm facing south and they are the one that shook like mad, as for the time I remember it because it was pretty late at night before I went to bed at 1:30 am. and yes it happened 3-4 times also, the windows facing south shaking. and the day before it happened at around the same time, then I went to sleep and it woke me up and I was so scared it was a burglar I went to check and it also happened another 1-2 times..
Its weird, thats all I can say, definately staying awake tonight to see if it happens, Im really guessing it has to do with soundwaves, and for them to shake it that hard that people say its an earthquake in the center of the country and a big shake in the north it has to be something of sound waves coming from there travelling from south to north thats why it hit the suth facade in our homes, and with no noise at all and reaching over such large distance.. its either some kind of something secret or ufo's..
the suspicion that its something secret or the authorities hiding information is because so many people felt it yet they deny there was anything, and look at the hours - when most people would be sleeping.

someone just talked about the ynet article on the local radio.
they were not experts but someone said that if it was
really some kind of military stuff then of course the seismic institute
would be lying to cover up anything secret they didnt want people to know.
they also mentioned two nights ago the sound alarms in the entire Rishon area went off for 10 minutes at just the same times at night, which is weird - and rishon is close to palmahim base so do 1+1..
also weird: no media reported it even though so many people felt something,
so it could be very highly classified and so censored.
so they said it could be:

1) maybe u.s stealth fighters, they make very little noise
2) some-kind of mini-nuclear testing, maybe in the sea
3) some kind of huge sound/vacuum bomb test

I would agree with your 1st speculation, it could have been a US stealth fighter, or maybe an Israeli one?but any way, thats the most logical thing that could do that sort of thing....
unless there are UFO's on earth.....

The B-2, F-117 are subsonic. Any other possible stealyh plane is way to secret to be flying around here..

Nuclear explosions have other effects then just noise waves on undetected frequencies and other theories also don’t explain the incident as it happened.

And if the seismic institute was smart and willing to cover something up, it should have said that there WAS an earthquake. Anyway, it could be that they are lying.

Well... I don't know what could cause these vibrations. But when last year there was an earth quake in Poland firstly everyone though that something happened in Russia, that they're preparing a new bomb or something :D but there were only 3 moves. ;)
