View Full Version : The Shang Grand Tower, Makati
renell October 24th, 2005, 10:08 AM wow you jog:D
wow that's gold it really enhances the view of Enterprise, and it's great for that area of the CBD to be beefed up with more skyscrapers:okay:
Francis20 October 24th, 2005, 02:38 PM agree with that @ coke. we were at Landmark walkway yesterday. i stopped by to have a glance at Shang Tower. The lower floors are now colored with dark brown overlay. The primer is white of course, then there's a light brown color. But I assume the final color will be the dark brown. Very nice. It creates a contrast with the light colored BSA Twins and Prince Plaza, and Asian Mansion. I guess it will turn gold once struck by sunlight. Would there be any spotlights at night?
Oh, by the way, i have 2 offtopic comments:
1. What are those large monitors at the Landmark-Greenbelt walkway for? Looks like plasma TVs.Di ko pa naman nakitang naka on.
2. Insular Life facade is also flooded with spotlights. Kaya sobrang liwanag na sa intersection ng Ayala-Paseo. And the top part is highlighted with a blue-purplish light. It looks cool imo.
pau_p1 October 25th, 2005, 02:30 AM the plasma monitors are for advertisements... :D they put up commercials in those TVs
Dvorak October 25th, 2005, 04:46 AM very low quality samsung plasma.... ang sama nang colors when they're on..

renell October 30th, 2005, 06:43 AM What's amazing is that the rendering is almost exact as the real thing. Often I see changes here and there to the final version. St. Francis has taken the thunder out of this for a couple of days. That photo just balances things out :master:
ryanr October 30th, 2005, 06:44 AM ^^ Thats true...its exactly like its rendering:D

_zner_ October 30th, 2005, 12:17 PM how tall is this one btw?
renell October 30th, 2005, 12:50 PM well it's been an ever rising number, that is our guess as to how high this baby is. 160m initially, then 172m.. I'm guessing now that this could be 180m. arg shame we don't have a reigno or a bevo for this one.
_zner_ October 30th, 2005, 04:29 PM ^^^
i thought upon completion this will be around 200m.... guess i was wrong..
