eddie105Z November 1st, 2005, 02:49 AM sorry guys.. i dont have the english copy..

If the images are in the form of a hyperlink (www.zzz.zzz) then you can use IMG tags.
type this: www.mypicturegoeshere.com
so your link goes between these 2 tags,
An easier way is to just click on this little picture in your reply screen and then insert the link:

TVM spends US$20 million to build TV studios
By LE TOAN
Tri Viet Media Corp. (TVM) officially held a groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday for building a com*plex of television film studios in Binh Duong Province.
The 10-hectare construction requires US$20million and will be used to produce TV programs for domestic and foreign TV stations.
The Dream Field (Canh
Dong Uoc Mo) Studio, as the project is named, is designed by South Korea's Sinn Archi*tects, said TVM board chair*woman Le Thi Phuong Thuy. She said the construction work would bear Vietnam's typical symbols like boats and lotus flowers embodied into archi*tectural structures to create a modern and elegant complex.
Besides four studios for TV programs, the project was designed to include a control office, a school to train studio techniques, design work*shops, guest houses, a res*taurant, a swimming pool, and a tennis court among others.
All technical rooms will be provided with modern and compatible equipment to en*sure that TV programs are produced in accordance with international standards.
Thuy said the construction would be built in two phases.
The first phase is to build two studios between October and the third quarter of 2006 to produce TV programs, while the second phase is to build other facilities, all for completion in the third quar*ter of 2009.
In addition, TVM aims to train professional personnel for the local entertainment industry, in cooperation with experts of South Korea's Seoul Broadcasting System and from other countries.

TVM spends US$20 million to build TV studios
how big is the studio? The size of a trailer?
VN movies are the most pathetic movies in the world. Even vietnamese don't watch their movies.
VN should use that money and invest in a studio where they can make music videos like "Saigon by night" or something to compete with Vietnamese Americans' "Paris by night" or "Asia Entertainment"
Baria November 2nd, 2005, 04:26 PM They did overtaken the oversea music market!!!
versalvin November 2nd, 2005, 08:05 PM how? so far i only seen mass products...lots of quantity but the quality isnt as good as the overseas productions.
coolink November 2nd, 2005, 10:01 PM yeah wouldn't it be great lemongrass?
if we can't be famous actor, atleast we could go there and be extras and stuntmans.....and we could hanging by those nice rope and flying on the sky and fighting with shinny swords and you could kill me and i could kill you and one of us could die......and before we die we sing a long enless "cai luong" tune..............i mean VN desperately need a studio like that for ancient historical films
we could be hidden dragon crouching tiger lemongrass......so cool huh?
Baria November 2nd, 2005, 11:00 PM Vietnam's music quality is second to none of that of here. Their studios are worth millions of dollars. For the quantity, you'd hear their musics everywhere, in supermarket, at hair studios, at coffee houses, at pho restaurants,... What else can you ask? Vietnam's music has poor quality? Did they miss a beat? Being "high quality", but very few people hear it, is not very popular!
Believe me we will very soon have Thuy Nga's Paris By Night produced by a Hanoi studio! Just wait and see Thuy Nga using Vietnam' quality.
proX November 3rd, 2005, 03:38 AM they're builing a film studio ...not a theater!!! yeah right...guess how many cd's, vcd's and dvd's Vietnam's singers release each year...in comparision to those in us ( viet's) !!? viet's pple from other countries have to import viet's singers cds and sell 'em but ...not reversely. and guess who have clips shown on MTV ASIA, as well as starred in film series on MTV ASIA...... and Vietnamese singers do TRAVEL to the us of A on invitation and some other countries for performing ...but not...those in dah us ( yes, they do but not as often as those in vietnam)...and of course...Vietnam has a larger audience, who consume more product. vietnamese singers also perform in int'l concert with other singers from all across asia like, F4, Boa, Hamyumi Hamasaki, Kangta, H.O.T, leon lai, pam, Bi , Fay Won, Louis Koo, Jang dong Gun, Winnie, Toro, Benny Choeung, Ann Je wook, ,.. they're more popular.and who has more influence in the music industry? ....viet pple in other countries might recognize or know of viet's singers ..but vietnam audience don't really know much about viet oversea singers. vietnam also has a wide variety of singers. indeed, we're in DEEP NEED of a film studio, as the viet's film industry re-booming. we already got one for sitcom stuffs, but still dont have any descent one for long series or settings for movie. they just recently open an int'l editing service studio for movies and post-production biz.why does vn need another "saigon by night"....when we already got DUYEN DANG VIET NAM , whose delegation is currently in Sydney and Canberra for performing. we also got to see big stars in asia to perform in vn. we also got weekly, monthly or yearly type of show like PEPSI MUSIC show, MTV Mien Nhiet Doi, the music road, v-pop, WEpro, Saomai-Diem Hen ( American Idol type of show), VTV- My favorite songs, Lan song xanh, M.A.S.K, talk shows with celebs, yeah true that, Viet's film is sorta "xao" but there's quite numbers of good movies...like those recent ones! but hey ,a lot of the recent new movies got nominated at the regional film festival and drew a lot of attention from audience lately. singers in "Paris by night", as well as other shows, cover too many songs that are sung by viet's singers too much!! and their program is leaned more towards old songs,...too much old music. i have nothing against viet's traditional music but it tends to get boring after a while! their shows r nice and the singers are great too,( some, at least)! it would be fun if more viet oversea singers come to perform in vietnam! people from all over the world tend to know or hear more of vietnam's music from vn.and overall, that proves vietnam's music industry in vn is still dominant!
two3toes November 3rd, 2005, 09:09 AM Let's be rational.
Mainland VNmese artists are well perceive by Asian because they represent the country, but not because they are any better than Overseas VNmese artists. There are many reasons as to why OVN artists wouldn't perform in VN. One, they have contracts with their productions. Two, they get better pay outside of VN. Three, they don't like communist. Four, they can not perform in VN because the government wouldn't allow them. As to why many MVN artists come to America to perform for the VNmese audience, there are three reasons. One, we want diversity and new faces. Second, their services cost less. Third, just like sports or Hollywood, we attract the best of the best from other countries to come here to play or act with our already best here in the state.
I'm not bias, but OVN music, videos and movies are better quality compare to MVN, but eventually MVN will catch up and then surpass because they have room for improvements and the resources to do so; case in point, a new $20M studio.
Thuy Nga uses a lot of old songs in their videos because the majority of their audiences are your parents and mine parents who buys it, and they would get headaches from technotrance and hardcore rock n' roll. Aside from that they can't find 20 new songs for each new video. I know Thuy Nga pays song writers in VN for any new songs (strictly TN copyrighted); however, these people end up selling their new songs to singers in VN as well. TN can't enforce their rights and plus they need these people. F.Y.I. I'm a fan of Van Son.
Ask yourself this, when was the last time you paid $10 or $12 for a CD from VN. I know this; you paid $1 to $5 for a CD from VN but paid $10 for a CD here. I also know this; you watched HK and Korean series and movies but stopped renting series from VN after the first two episodes. Even if you did finished the whole series, you told yourself, what a waste of time, bad script, propaganda and I feel stupid now. You watched VN music videos and you told yourself, what the f*** *** ******* ***** wearing and why I see the back of people's head in the audience, how did she/he became a singer with that weird voice, etc....
LacHong November 3rd, 2005, 06:25 PM You might be right with a few things but not all. For instance, you said it is cost less to bring MVN artists to the States. This is not true. They are paid 3 to 4 times as much as a popular OVN artists. Quang Dung, My Tam, Dam VInh hung, Ung hoang Phuc, DanTruong and more got paid $8,000 to $9,000 per concert (price includes airfare), where as Khanh ha, Y lan, Lam nhat Tien got paid from $2,500 to $3,000 per concert. These concerts usually held at the casinos around the US. Seattle in particular is seem to be a popular city to host these events. You right on one thing that you said OVN want diversity and yet demand must follow, therefore create a huge opportunity for those in the bussiness of making money.
two3toes November 4th, 2005, 03:02 AM You're only right on the payment discussion. I don't have much facts to back me up on what was said about the payment because i'm not in the entertainment business. It does make sense that they would get pay more because airfare and visa. I'm not surprise that Khanh Ha, Y Lan and Lam Nhat Tien were paid from $2,500 to $3,000 per show. Let's put it this way, they need more loyal fans or a wider/variety fan based.
I think in general Washington and Cali are the hot spots. I know there are many casinos in Washington, south south of Seattle (e.g. Tacoma, Vancouver, Longview, La Center), that bring both MVN and OVN to their casinos to perform once a every month. Some of them does it more frequently than the others.
