View Full Version : Aramco Headquarter
Riyadhi November 8th, 2005, 07:27 PM This building was supposed to be built in 1993 but then it was put on hold until now. Today with the massive demand for office space they are planning to build two new towers at the core area. Take a look at the old design while I dig in for more information.

Bahraini Spirit November 8th, 2005, 07:33 PM Cool. I know this sounds silly but will they be built then in Aramco itself or the city?
Riyadhi November 8th, 2005, 07:34 PM The current headquarters,

Bahraini Spirit November 8th, 2005, 07:35 PM Oh ok so in Aramco itself then.
Riyadhi November 8th, 2005, 07:36 PM in Aramco..
If you look closely at the render you can see the two old buildings on the background..
Bahraini Spirit November 8th, 2005, 07:38 PM Ya. I passed by Aramco but never saw towers so I thought they might shift it to the city although I know that that doesn't make sense at all, besides providing a better skyline to Khobar.
Riyadhi November 8th, 2005, 07:39 PM FYI, what people know as Dhahran is actually Aramco's areas.
Bahraini Spirit November 8th, 2005, 07:41 PM Ya I know that, I've had friends who lived there, and it's huge, sooo much land on offer and it's called the mini states but I heard things got a bit stricter now.
Riyadhi November 8th, 2005, 07:46 PM It's called "Aramco Camp" and it was designed for the expats who work for Aramco. It does look like a slice of an American town, even women can drive there. Now there are maybe more Saudi families living there than expats.
Moody November 8th, 2005, 07:49 PM Modern design, nice.. looks like the Grand Hayyat on Dubai creek.
