View Full Version : My Most Hated LA Building
FROM LOS ANGELES November 13th, 2005, 10:34 PM I'm talking about the Los Angeles World Trade Center. That black 7 story tower, with a whole block of 2 story building around it. The only OK thing about it is all the pedestrian bridges connecting it to the Bank of America Tower [ formely known as 333 South Hope ], and the one to the Bonaventure Hotel. My question is, who built this?, what year was it made?, is there any new projects in the site? It kills the skyline becuase it's surrounded by nice high-rises, and when you get to it, you see nothing but a miniature. It doesn't belong where it is. I hope they raze it to the ground.

I don't like the idea of jails at all in a downtown area especially if it's a high-rise prison like the one in Chicago. But it can be a good idea if these jails will be later converted to condos.
I can't imagine myself working in an office building with a view of several jail cells.
