No. Not moved in yet. Just park my car there. At least better to park the car there rather than outside of my brother house.

In order not to offend your neighbour, I think you should report it to Kondoservis Mgmt and let Kondoservis give them reminder/warning letter. This is their job...my OPINION only...

All this issue should be highlighted to Kondoservice immediately. So far i notice most of you informing kondoservice on your own via email. I think is bout time you guys seriouslly consider forming the Pro-Tem residence committee.

Afterall, everyone here invested a huge amount. just my personal opinion.

On the issue of non-residence, we should suggest to kondoservice to contact the owners directly. Either via warning letter or fine etc. But i think they should have the experience to handle such cases since they manage many other condo that has non-residence pupulation.

it was a very quick glance as i was driving then. if i remember correctly it was probably the mid levels of the low rise.

btw how floors is the low rise?

err... i've seen the layout of the 70 damansara units... and all i can say is that i am not too impressed with the layout... nothing special laa... i would expect more if i am paying 5.6mill plus!!!

+ the swimming pool is elevated
+ masterbath room has double sink seperate shower / WC / bath tub.
+ has a water feature a shallow pool <-- nice...
+ all finishing + appliances of the very best
+ a powder room
+ lots and lots of windows <-- not too sure if this is a good or a bad thing because the land plot is quite tiny...
+ every room has its own attached bathroom <-- very good!
+ 2 entrance (one for owner and one for guest)

- small or no garden at all!
- just too many staircase, i think the space is just too small
- rm800 a month for service?! kinda over the top i guess...
- no double volume living space (the double ceiling height) <-- even penthouse has this now days!
- no family room??? this is unacceptable laa! u just cannot use the main living space as a family room?! or else it will be messy all the time!

watched 'just like heaven' last night... reese witherspoon's apartment is fantastic, lots of wood, very warm and comfy, plus it has a 'to die for' view of San Francisco skyline. Most of all it has a rooftop garden... i cannot help but to wonder, is a rooftop garden suitable for malaysian weather? drainage would be a major issue right? we get so much rain here... the posibility of leakage is there... not too suitable here i guess...

i've asked them that before i bought mine...
they said no... no installment scheme with them... but u could include the price into your housing loan with the bank.... but have to buy the apt and extra parking both at the same time laa....

Tandem parking lot is RM10,000

I believe all tandem lot are sold out, individual they still have afew under savannah. can go check it out with the sales agents. But dont think there is such thing as installment. You will have to price it together with your housing loan.

But if you want to buy now (after your housing loan is sign), you can go for separate loan from banks. but the loan tenure & interest will be much higher.

Take the islamic loans that are fixed at 6 - 8% per annum. Or you can sign by credit card then do a balance transfer for 36mth ! :bash:

i had a deal with them.... i only need to pay 10% now for the extra parking....

i think it will not effect the rental rates...

but when selling... u will be hit by the Gov's Property Gain Tax... because u will not get any exemption, since it is a commercial property....

I think 2Hp AC unit is just right for the living room because the cool air would escape to the corridors etc...etc.....etc....! :okay:

Too small hp and the aircond works double hard and there goes your electricity bill ;) So dun be so 'kiemsiap' over the horses.

Just like why a 1300cc Kembara is not as fuel economy when travelling on PLUS compared to a 3500cc Pajero cos the Kembara engine needs to work harder thus consuming more fuel. Same logic applies to aircond :D

Then, happen to stumble upon Hitachi brand. Also good. But got 2 different model with different function. Donno lor. The one that I like is the 1.5h with 4 outlet. But..

The 2.0hp cost around RM2249 : HITACHI NANO TITANIUM SERIES : RAS-18CX9. I think I will eventually buy this one.

Hmmmm.....I would advice you to at least switch it on for a couple of hours at least once every month or so if you are not using because aircond would get spoilt easily if not used. ;)

The one installed by developer are usually noisy because those are window unit :D Yea.....window units have those 'water sound' and when it gets old.....it emit loud 'Klung' noise when the compressor kicks in :D Not too usre if the new window units have this prob still ;)

a little bit busy these days, haven't had the time to post.
got the dryer last week from adamismadi, only managed to test it during the weekends. All I can say is that it worked like it should. The only setback is that don't overload the thing, or your laundry will take ages to dry(3-5 hours). It's very good though with the current rainy spell almost evryday. I tried drying my damp shoes, it only took about 1 hour+. built Quality of course cannot compare to japanese made product. This one is made in China, if made in Japan, I think the price would be double if not, triple.

Very useful gizmo if you ask me, but of course, it's nowhere near the performance of a conventional dryer unit. I'm thinking of using it in my office as a heater. the aircond is damn cold, feels like a chilled room. Multipurpose dryer if you ask me.a very good investment, working hours - heater, non working hours - cloth dryer, party time - blow up those air filled decorative items you usually finds in discos,parties, world cup, etc. hehehehehe....

Oh, I took some pictures of SM from setiawangsa LRT. I'll post it here when time permits. I also like the design of the new T&T website, but why nothing on Havanna?this will irritates the owners of havanna liao... :mad2:

Actually I just realised while doing my walking that day, for Jelatek n Lanai, the parking lot located at basement 1 n basement 2.

But for Havanna n Savanna there's additional level of parking lot, if I'm not mistaken, 2 level. But the additional leve is not that big.

I usually use the exit underneath Jelatek 1 to go out, but since they close the shutter after 10am, that Sunday I have to use the other exit, which was my first time using that one..n that thing didnt work.

Yup....that's for home. You know why York are often used for office? That is because its blower is very very good.....able to cool down the room faster ;)

i am using linksys router+ap+switch but without modem...
its a good practice to keep the modem separated because it is susceptable to lightning damage... so if ur modem is fried... ur LAN would still work and buying a new modem is cheaper!

Actually when in the suburbs, the MRT is elevated. The reason why it does underground as it reaches the denser part of downtown is because it saves space and having stations underground makes easier transit stations and better physical connectivity with properties around it ;)

For the trains which goes into the heart of the neighbourhood and near the apartments, they have those rubber-wheeled metros called LRTs there. They have 2 systems there, Bukit Panjang LRT and Sengkang LRT. Rubber-wheeled bogies are much quieter......those trains are similar to KLIA's Aerotrain and the noise level is like KL Monorail which also use rubber wheels :)

curtains are very expensive and very over-rated...
a lot of ppl spends way too much on them... the price of material i so freaking high...
their service charges are just as high! even though sewing curtains are dead simple... all straight lines only!!! no curves no nothing...
my little sis insist she had her money's worth when spending thousands for curtains in her whole house! outrageous i think!

Hi Again Everyone! Did anyone check out the Home Decor Exhibition in Midvalley? Quite interesting with lots of booths. I checked out one interior design booth, the company is called City Creative Design Sdn Bhd and their sample pictures have lots of work done for condos in Singapore. Looks quite modern and I'm considering the special package they are offering. Only thing is I'm wondering if it's way too early to start looking for an interior design firm as Havanna is only scheduled to be completed in October 2006!

2K too much...I spent less than RM400 to get all done...the solution is: Go to Nagoya in Carrefour Wangsa Maju and ask the salesgirl to cut the right measurement and ask them to sew it...

Let's make it simple:

VOIP is a way to make voice calls over the Internet. :)

That means not thru your phone and it is cheaper (could be free also). However its quality is not as good as the traditional voice calls using your phone. ;)
