View Full Version : What's up with that spot... rick1016 November 18th, 2005, 11:41 PM That big hole in the ground off of the Gardener just east of the Humber river? By Spadina...there's a huge area that's been basically just dirt for years now, whats gonna happen there, anyone know? Are Be November 18th, 2005, 11:55 PM Just east of the Humber, by Spadina ... you mean the Ex? rick1016 November 19th, 2005, 12:18 AM Nope, just north of the Gardener, you can see it. Right around where they took the hump out. valantino November 19th, 2005, 12:24 AM Condos between Spadina & Bathurst - Cityplace (www.cityplace.ca) across from the Ex - Liberty Village (www.libertyvillageto.com) just east of the Humber - Windermere By the Lake (www.windermerebythelake.com) rick1016 November 19th, 2005, 12:31 AM I figured that...takin them a while dontcha think You are to blame November 19th, 2005, 05:52 AM ^^^ cityplace condos sell out in a couple of months i don't know any other condo projects that are sold out and being constructions as fast as the cityplace towers. They have built 9 towers and 5 are under construction all within about 5 years partybits November 21st, 2005, 05:47 AM Cityplace is going up at breakneck speed and I don't think it could possibly have gone any quicker. The whole hole should be developed sometime between 2010-2015. Liberty Village has basically just began with it's first condo (townhomes developed) but you will start to see alot more action in 2006 with 3 condos going up more or less simutaneously, plus more to come in future years. And Windermere on the Lake, I think it's going to start next year. Not really sure about that one. valantino November 21st, 2005, 08:05 AM ^Re: Windermere on the Lake - first phase (of 3 or 4) is well into construction all three mega-projects (okay, bit of a stretch for windermere) should be completed by 2015 - not to mention the West Donlands and FYN What happens then? HousBinPharteen November 21st, 2005, 07:22 PM If you are referring to the area just west of the Cityplace West One and N1 towers, that area is suppose to house a new school, community centre and a park. Quite amazing to see the pace of construction there! rick1016 November 22nd, 2005, 01:19 AM What will Cityplace look like when it's done? valantino November 22nd, 2005, 01:41 AM ^go to the website |
