This is simply a poll, this is not biased against any party, Infact unless you feel you need to post something please don't. I don't want to start any controversy or anything. Also I will list each party by full name, just because I think it looks better. Everyone will be anonymous.

I like this thread as the local government elections are coming up on March 1, 2006.

PS - You can take the New National Party off the list as it disbanded and "merged" with the ANC last year.

shit last time I voted was in 1994 in London, since then I have been over seas and wasent allowed to vote (fu&king ANC made sure of that), even little ol New Zealand has voting stations in the major overseas locations (london,Pretoria, new york etc) and you should have been able to vote at any embassy , but NO. So I vote with my wallet and voice

Why doesn't the government allow citizens overseas to vote? Does anyone really know?

Well the DA wins the election! This may be an indication of what happens in the City of Cape Town when the local election is held and Executive Mayor Nomainda Mfeketo is booted out and the DA takes charge as it did in 2000.

What are you saying? Why have this tread then. Ofcourse people are going to post comments and piss others off. Please keep politics out and keep the treads clean. This is such a nice escape from the political scene. If you want politics, watch SABC.

I think this is a good and interesting subject, but why is it on skyscrapercity.com? By the way my theory is that the DA should absorb all the little similar parties, and eventually there should probably be only three parties. ANC, DA, and Inkatha. For those against the ANC it would consolidate opposition into a stronger force with more representation.

I think it's safe to say everyone has voted and the ANC pulled out a win in the end.

Hey, I voted DA actually, I'm not really a fricken psycho like I led everyone to believe. I don't wish apartheid was still around, that wasn't ,right but I am kind of a traditionalist. So bottom line is I didn't vote FF +.

Hey, freedom of choice! Someone is just trying to keep them alive, as they are becoming extinct faster than the Coelacanth!

I'm quite surprised and it's interesting that the ANC is doing so well here. Does it mean that a lot more white (of whom I presume make out the majority of SA forumers) are now embracing the 'black' ANC?

Every time I say it's final another person votes : so now it's tied between ANC and DA

WOW I can not believe ANC tied in an almost all white forum, but hey I didn't even vote for FF+ or NNP, I'm a DA man, and believe they are the future of ANC opposition.
