View Full Version : Political Parties
JAB323 November 22nd, 2005, 02:34 AM This is simply a poll, this is not biased against any party, Infact unless you feel you need to post something please don't. I don't want to start any controversy or anything. Also I will list each party by full name, just because I think it looks better. Everyone will be anonymous.
thryve November 22nd, 2005, 03:47 AM I am glad to see some new types of threads popping up... soon the SA section on ssc will be BOOMING! ;)
Let the voting/discussion begggiinnnnnnn!!!!
Pieter_Van_Classen November 22nd, 2005, 04:23 AM Ugh!!Politics yuck!
Harkeb November 22nd, 2005, 08:42 AM Let's not go there... its going to get messy and off point.
JAB323 November 22nd, 2005, 01:54 PM Like I said above, everyone is anonymous and I asked that nobody posts any comments, just so there is no arguments.
Pieter_Van_Classen November 22nd, 2005, 02:22 PM I hate politics.
capetown November 22nd, 2005, 05:08 PM I like this thread as the local government elections are coming up on March 1, 2006.
PS - You can take the New National Party off the list as it disbanded and "merged" with the ANC last year.
SA BOY November 22nd, 2005, 05:15 PM shit last time I voted was in 1994 in London, since then I have been over seas and wasent allowed to vote (fu&king ANC made sure of that), even little ol New Zealand has voting stations in the major overseas locations (london,Pretoria, new york etc) and you should have been able to vote at any embassy , but NO. So I vote with my wallet and voice
JAB323 November 22nd, 2005, 08:10 PM Why doesn't the government allow citizens overseas to vote? Does anyone really know?
#1 November 22nd, 2005, 11:00 PM I like this thread as the local government elections are coming up on March 1, 2006.

No good f*cking NNP couldn't stand up to the ANC
joburg November 22nd, 2005, 11:12 PM Oh my... it's someone from the AWB. :)
skandaaaaaal!!
JAB323 November 23rd, 2005, 12:52 AM I know that there is more than 12 SA forumers. :)
capetown November 23rd, 2005, 01:06 AM Well the DA wins the election! This may be an indication of what happens in the City of Cape Town when the local election is held and Executive Mayor Nomainda Mfeketo is booted out and the DA takes charge as it did in 2000.
capetown
Harkeb November 23rd, 2005, 05:48 AM Like I said above, everyone is anonymous and I asked that nobody posts any comments, just so there is no arguments.
What are you saying? Why have this tread then. Ofcourse people are going to post comments and piss others off. Please keep politics out and keep the treads clean. This is such a nice escape from the political scene. If you want politics, watch SABC.
mike2005 November 23rd, 2005, 05:28 PM I am going to vote ANC here in joburg but if I was still in Cape Town it would have been DA becasue teh ANC down in the cape are total jokers!
JAB323 November 23rd, 2005, 07:46 PM Well the DA wins the election! This may be an indication of what happens in the City of Cape Town when the local election is held and Executive Mayor Nomainda Mfeketo is booted out and the DA takes charge as it did in 2000.
capetown
Not so fast capetown its all tied up ANC - 7, DA -7, and 1 Independent
BuffaloCity November 23rd, 2005, 08:24 PM I think this is a good and interesting subject, but why is it on skyscrapercity.com? By the way my theory is that the DA should absorb all the little similar parties, and eventually there should probably be only three parties. ANC, DA, and Inkatha. For those against the ANC it would consolidate opposition into a stronger force with more representation.
HirakataShi November 24th, 2005, 06:49 AM When did you live in East London?
BuffaloCity November 24th, 2005, 02:08 PM Just about a year and a half ago.
Pieter_Van_Classen November 29th, 2005, 04:30 AM Hmmm...I wonder who voted for the Freedom Front?
JAB323 December 1st, 2005, 12:41 AM I think it's safe to say everyone has voted and the ANC pulled out a win in the end.
mike2005 December 1st, 2005, 12:29 PM I was wondering the same thing, who did vote for the FF?!! :-)
HirakataShi December 1st, 2005, 08:15 PM the AWB crazy - #1.
#1 December 1st, 2005, 11:26 PM Hey, I voted DA actually, I'm not really a fricken psycho like I led everyone to believe. I don't wish apartheid was still around, that wasn't ,right but I am kind of a traditionalist. So bottom line is I didn't vote FF +.
Harkeb December 2nd, 2005, 06:40 AM I was wondering the same thing, who did vote for the FF?!! :-)
Hey, freedom of choice! Someone is just trying to keep them alive, as they are becoming extinct faster than the Coelacanth!
Harkeb December 2nd, 2005, 06:43 AM I'm quite surprised and it's interesting that the ANC is doing so well here. Does it mean that a lot more white (of whom I presume make out the majority of SA forumers) are now embracing the 'black' ANC?
JAB323 December 4th, 2005, 01:53 AM Every time I say it's final another person votes : so now it's tied between ANC and DA
JAB323 December 4th, 2005, 05:46 PM Who voted for New National Party?, Freedom Front? I guess nobody is who they seem. :sly:
#1 December 5th, 2005, 08:18 PM WOW I can not believe ANC tied in an almost all white forum, but hey I didn't even vote for FF+ or NNP, I'm a DA man, and believe they are the future of ANC opposition.
