I was just wondering about little secret spots in SA to have a nice break away.
I just love Langebaan, Cape West coast- a small village town on the lagoon, and Knysna on the south coast.
I'm sure there are many other, maybe better spots. Let us know.

Well I'm a big fan on the KZN South Coast. Leisure Bay is my favourite. Not such a big fan of Umhlanga and the North Coast.

Besides that, Cape Town is always a great place to go on holiday because it's a great city and has great access to fantastic places like Stellenbosch and indeed Langebaan.

Up north, I love the whole of Mpumalanga. There are some beautiful spots up there!

Zinkwazi up the north coast, or blystdale beach

There are SO many places, and we all tend to stick to the ones nearby...

I LOVE escaping, so dont really like going to the tourist towns that much when i wanna relax. But Zinkwazi is great!!! St Lucia is also real nice, not the town so much, but the area!! Ooh the new "treehouse" style lodges up there are amazing!

IF I had to come back to SA for a holiday .. I would ONLY go to Franschoek - I personally feel that it is the best preserved and maintained town in the Country .. free of squatters etc and drop-dead beautiful with loads of class !

I've always enjoyed Thsipise and Tzaneen.......I'm probably the only one here who loves those places except for maybe HirakataShi.....;)................Pilgrims Rest was kinda cute but touristy.....and Ive always been fascinated with Matatiele. :)

In Cape Town, you can find a beautiful restored , the heart of the Five Flies restaurant, your meal should be choose your holiday in South Africa's first historic buildings. Quartier French music is a surprising finding in the rural setting where you can dine in a large garden bungalow windows and furniture.

Knysna would be my favourite

Just been up to Vic Falls and driven down to Thabazimbi area. Wow, fantastic game farms in the Rooibokkraal area in the Limpopo area. Wanted to stay on so much.

Have to agree with the above comments esp. about Five Flies restaurant. Had a great meal there two weeks ago.

But Seedey calls- have to make money to come home with.

I promise to just drive up country when Im getting back. The island of Taiwan is just too damn small and crowded. I need space!
