Hey guys, I was thinkin of designing one for a while and pearl of the gulf suggested somthin that popped up in my mind before (thanks for reminding me) about designing a bahraini banner for the forums. We want to put this on the 16th of December.

The guidelines are basically limiting the size of the banner to 709 * 79 pixels.

So guys let's start designing. I need to talk to Jan about it cause there are like 3 months waiting list.

What an excellent idea.

I think either the BFH or BIC would be the best thing to have in the banner for Bahrain.

Leaning towards the BFH.

Ok as long as it's in a week before 16th December, there is no deadline but I have to make a special request for this.

B.S. I like the dhow in the sunset, but that doesn’t really standout to be Bahraini, the whole gulf has those boats. I found another photo of a sunset with the Khalifa bridge in the background. It would be cool if someone can take that dhow or any other and place it in that photo. I would if I wasn’t rubbish at this sort of stuff. :)

Definately the first one vc, it's great. The only things needed are National day of Bahrain, 16th Dec bit and resizing it to 709 * 79 pixels.

i like the blue, but remember that you cant right on the left side cause the SSC logo goes there. and try making the stripe thinner and the writing a bit smaller so we can see more of the pictures. one more thing your still getting the size wrong. overall good job man. :)

Blue is lighter on the eye. You need to push Bahrain National Day to the center and that'll be fine cause if you look at the banner on top of ssc., you'll notice that the logo is on the bottom left.

Besides that, it looks great.

Well BFH isn't ready, We'll show off the Dual Towers next yr inshalla...For now, i like the one everybody already decided on...And i like the blue colour more....Lets just move the "Bahrain National Day" to the right, and put it next to the "Dec. 16th"...But i'd like to see a tiny Bahrain flag there somewhere...So between the "Bahrain National Day" and "Dec 16th" stick a small Bahrain flag like a dash...Can u do that VC??

And perhaps make the blue strip a tiny bit narrower if possible...
