Yeah, I agree. It`s a nice idea to make construction update threads like lithuanians in this forum have done sometimes.

They're taking quite a long time to construct cityresidence I noticed...i read that estonia is in shortage of specialist jobs, like engineers etc, is that why it takes so long???

I agree that new office building is exceptionally cool, they are building a parking building next to it...
@Stas, they are doing the inside works now, the facade is almost complete :)

Our house is so under reconstruction right now and the original time, 3 months, will probably expand to a year. And the reason is obvious, no one is closing borders to Finland where all the workers are going. : ))) jei

just wondering whats going on with the tallinn airport?? have they started building the extension yet, if not when will it be started and when was it planned to be finished? or did i missread the post awhile ago and that was just an idea that was proposed?

its not an idea or proposed, its a approved plan, but im not sure WHEN will it go uc :D

my guess would be that they will start drilling in the support columns when the ground has frozen so the drilled holes dont collapse and it'll be easier to pour the concrete...otherwise the topsoil is either too wet to handle or too dry (like sand)
