7/10 Busan has a large number of highrises but they're scattered all over the city. those pics up there don't show all parts of the city, not even its tallest building. Once Lotte World 2, centum city project and other numerous residential skyscrapers are completed, it'd look a whole lot better. But for now, it's really not that impressive.

7/10, lacks density and needs more skyscrapers. It would definitly be better when Lotte World 2 gets built.

I must add that the bridge in the 4th picture really impressed me!!:D

Busan is a booming city (3rd largest port city in the world and most recently famous for its prestigious annual film festival, "Busan Film Festival" which is the largest in Asia and is considered Asia's "The Cannes Festival")

Most cities in south korea have those horrible residencials highrises with no sense of architecture, damn commieblocks, i hate them... they all look the same. Thankfully all the newer towers and project are much nicer and pleasing to the eyes, huge improvement.

Even the new big blue unique shapes in Busan, they are not one of a kind. There is a building next to it that looks the same even if 10 floors higher or shorter.

7.0 Having lived in Korea for many years, the skyline is ubiquitous. Doesn't matter which city or suburb, they are all the same. Tons of 20-30 floor apartment blocks, but now getting to 50+ floors. Even the new big blue unique shapes in Busan, they are not one of a kind. There is a building next to it that looks the same even if 10 floors higher or shorter.

The concept of city(downtown) and its suburb is western concept, not korean concept. In western cities, people usually work downtown at daytime and go to suburb(home) at night.
In korea, the city has already a function of residence inside the city, which mean there is no big distinction between downtown and suburd.
Korean use different perception words such as Sinae(시내) and Byeonduri(변두리), which mean inside of city and edge(boundary) of the city.
Yes, it looks similar, but not the same if you look closely.
Also, many residential buildings tend to build as a complex to widen space to gain profit. (If every building build defferently, the cost the construction is rising and losing its unity as a complex.)

As a matter of fact, the suburb of many US cities look more identical actually.

9 I feel it lacks something to be perfect, but I can not tell what, still excellent! My favourite in South Korea! With new supertalls finished, it would be more amazing!
