I thought to bring a bit more life to this forum, we should start a small rivalry between Laval and Longueuil.

Which do you prefer?

I dont have any photos of either, because they are scarce on Google.

Longueuil...mainly b/c i've never been in laval...odd considering I was Montreal 4 times but meh...

Well, since i was raised on the South SHore, i'd have to say Longueuil...mainly because I feel that it is more urban than Laval. There are many areas in Longueuil where you won't find single family homes in an entire neighborhood...plus there's old Longueuil(st-Charles Street) which pretty cool in the summer!

I feel the same way about Longueuil.

^^ Old Longueuil has some nice neighbourhoods, the problem are the sprawly developments towards Boucherville. They have killed the city and made it car dependant.

As a result of Laval's mayor, Longueuil transit users now have to pay $111 a month to use the metro ($41 more than what they pay now - the same rate as Montreal)... Arghh...

I never left the montreal island, closest I've been to longueuil was jean drapeau.

yeah.. they're both gonna get eated by Mtl,,, to become Great Mtl and thet're just gonna be districts or so, like in NY. but Laval has more empty space to build cool stuff so laval is better i think

well yeah.. but it's already built and still boring Laval's gonna get huge and awesome and as i said before a part of MTL
