I haven't visited NY yet and was just wondering how many elegant deco skyscrapers it has? Like many worldwide deco fans I've seen tons of pics of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building and so on, but few pics of all the other elegant deco talls NY has. If anyone has any pics to share it would be great to see them!!

NYC has a lot, but I always think NYC need more new elegant deco building like this new one in my hometown Austin, TX. I think this one will fit in NYC skyline very well.

Indeed, very interesting :-)
It does explain something about what were the artistic inspirations for Singapore's Parkview Square built in 2003 (see this thread: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=103016 )

I know that 1 5th Ave in Greenwich Village almost never gets mentioned and it's from art deco.
