Is there a big difference in the way people from Los Angeles act and the people living in Orange County, the Inland Empire, or the rest of the metro?
If there is, like what?

If there is, like what? Yes, but it's not a COUNTY thing, it's mostly an ethnic and regional thing. PotatoGuy December 9th, 2005, 02:10 AM yeah.. that county thing is bs.. i mean its like saying that orange county is full of rich white republicans.. its not true.. i mean the county seat Santa Ana has a population of 257000, of which 80 percent is Latino.. etc.. so yeah.. i agree w/ carson.. it's definetly an ethnic and regional thing Imperfect Ending December 9th, 2005, 02:46 AM and area code FROM LOS ANGELES December 9th, 2005, 03:14 AM These 3 counties are the same thing. But if you live in the OC you should like Angels, and if you live in LA county you should like Dodgers. Just an opinion. PotatoGuy December 9th, 2005, 03:38 AM ^^ haha yeah.. that should definetly be true.. but it doesnt really matter much really, i mean they're in different leagues so it shouldnt matter who you go for.. unless they both make it to the world series.. omg, can you imagine that?? Angels vs. Dodgers in World Series, that would rock! and yeah.. Angels would win :) solongfullerton December 9th, 2005, 03:53 AM I think you can divide southern california into 3 main groups based on surroundings. First off their is Urban LA. People that live in/work/spend their free time in the City tend to have a more urban style than people who don't. The second group are people in the suburbs. This can be divided into working class and upper class suburbs but the difference is not as prominent as the line between City and suburbs. People from OC, SFV, Ventura, and any other suburb of are considerably more similar than they are to people from the City. One example of this is the amount of raised trucks you see in the City, which is hardly any. Of course they are dying out in the suburbs because of gas prices, but they used to be everywhere but in the City. Lastly theres the poverty stricken neighborhoods which are unfortunately made up mostly of Hispanics and Blacks. Though not all hispanics and blacks fall into these communities, once you enter one its fairly obvious by the buildings and people you see in these neighborhoods. I think its obvious in southern california that suburbs make up a majority of the area. CarsonCaliBrotha December 9th, 2005, 03:54 AM and area code No not really. Basically all area codes all have the same amount of diversity. 14k December 9th, 2005, 10:32 AM I'll start with one. An ethnic stereoptypical example. White america West L.A, Valley and O.C have alot of similiarities, doing trendy things, claiming they're making a difference but in actuality living that given life by the system, ratrace. Often fall into a paradox reality is there and there only. Everyone should do the same. Having an SUV,a nice house, a steady job and kids usually mean mission accomplished. Why bother thinking all the way, facing the reality when 'everything' you need is already there. Manila-X December 9th, 2005, 11:52 AM This is how I look at it! I find alot people in Orange County with a warm attitude compared those in LA!
