Nice Pics.

Tehran seems to have a good amount of greenery too. I was under the impression that Iran is mostly a dry and arid land without sufficient green cover. Tehran looks quite green :)

a lot of those trees were planted. the government has done a lot of tree planting through out iran, trying to change the climate in some regions. the governmant has already successfully stopped the growth of the desert in iran.

they are also building a 32 kilometer (that is huge!!!!) artificial lake on the out skirts of tehran. when that gets built then it will affect the climate some what.
