The location of the building is extremely poor, I believe. That place is crowded like hell! It's somewhere near Muzung Chungi.

If only it were more symetrical, and include some sort of decorative elements

Other than that, its a Good design!

thats even better, we cant ignore these hell places, we must turn them into heaven.

it will be a good project to beautify the area, and the area is allready getting a big uplift, theres so many new malls and towers coming on ferozpur road, plus ring road will clean the traffic.

The building is beautiful and shows the image of East Asia. East Asians are very advanced and forward thinking. Americans can learn a lot from East Asians.

The only thing with the drawings is that they are showing cars that aren't driven in Pakistan. However, by the time the building is complete I hope that we start seeing those types of cars in Pakistan.

well i love building which break the symmetry......u look from one side n u say amazing design n when u move over to the next side, expecting the same design n u find something different u say awesome....thats wat i call archi......a good example is Frank Garys work at Disney Concert Hall Los Angeles....

the building has a south west face....i m wondering how will they stop all the direct sunlight from entering during the hot period of summers....??? Glass allowing heats to enter n prevents long wave radiation to be trapped inside....this means they will hafto waste alot of energy through air conditioning and cooling during that season...!!!

Salam,

Its a nice project and looks a bit different too. Not a tall building though. Neat and clean architecture.

Glass allowing heats to enter n prevents long wave radiation to be trapped inside....this means they will hafto waste alot of energy through air conditioning and cooling during that season...!!! Techno-Architect! I really like your attitude. This is an important comment by you because it takes into consideration the fact that we can save a lot of energy by mere architecture of the design. For example, a little light can glow the entire room if we have brilliant-white paint on the walls. Similarly, sheds can "shed" heat waves away in summers and en-trap the interior heat during winters.
In winters, however, this building may get some cosy sunlight and may save heating :)
Peace.

Thats one awesome design!
good one for Lahore!

well adding to the last comment, at nite during the winter, the temperature falls to usually 4'C on average. Glass is a not a thick material, like you can use a max of 35-50mm glass, a cavity glass also, but the fact is that in cold weather, your heat genereated inside whether artificially or trapped by direct sunlight in the day whoz intensity in not that much, heat losses from inside to outside cannot be stopped through a material like glass. so either ways if u have a larger glass facades in summers or winters, the energy transfers and losses cannot be minimized.

Each building material has a 'K' value. The one with the lowest 'k' value is the best insulator of heat. Compare the concept of 27-36 inch walls used during the colonial period when there were no sources of heating and cooling to use of a 25mm glass sheet for sun protection!!

Greetings,

This beautifull building is at 19 Ferouze Pur Road. Its architect is Mr. Ayub Munir, the CEO of Matrix Consultants. The building is 15ft high from ground now. People have really admired the design and facilities of this building.

Greetings,

I really appreciate your concern fellow. But we have taken care of the problem you have mentioned. we have used "Insulation Cavity Glass" in it and so the sunlight will not be a problem at all.

I hope you all have seen its website: www.chinacenter.com.pk or www.gallop.pk

Ive been passing the site office fer quite some time, but i havent cn any progress.....can u give us the details y there hasnt work started yet on the site n when is it expected!

Greetings,

The construction has started fellows, but yes it did get late. The reason was quite reasonable though. You see there was some problem in approval matters and the developer did not want to do a construction of one inch with out proper and complete approval of his plaza. So we showed great patience and started work after getting complete approvals. I guess China Center is the only plaza there which is building the whole structure as approved by the LDA and nothing beside it. The developers of China Center are educated people and did not want to hurry in such issues.

Now the construction has started and it’s going pretty fast.

I am afraid I have no picture of construction work at the moment but can provide you with the pictures very soon. I will send the details of companies from which we are taking the glass and rest of the materiel.
