We all know that these projects are the biggest in dt LA. They're all very important, and are going to have a tremendous impact in dt's everyday role. They are also going to increase dt's population, traffic and life, for better or for worse. Some of them have een long waited for, and some of them we only kno little about. I want to know what you guys think of the projects' aftermath and give a quick review of your opinion.

^^ yup and the most diverse.. its not only residential/commercial like other projects, it has the hotel and the theatre, etc.. so its better i think

How can you determine the importance of something that you have no idea as to what it will look like (Grand Ave and Metropolis)?

LA Live
LA Live needs to be smartly designed and something original so residents/tourists will see it as more then just add on to staples.
Grand Avenue Project
I think for people that live downtown the park would be more important because the city never had much of a park within walking distance.
Metropolis
Connection with LA Live will determine the success of the ground retail, maybe an entrance to 7+ fig from 9th street would also help it connect more.
LA Live will cause the buzz, grand will please the residents, metropolis is a welcome addition to the skyline.

Another thing that is going to help LA Live and Metropolis is that even the building it themselves will be advertised during construction. People are going to refer to them a the buildings next to the I-10.
