Bonjour, Pierre. En fait, je suis canadien anglophone. A l'ecole nous avons etudie le francais, mais malheureusement je parle seulement un peut. 就這樣,而已.小時侯讀法語的時光已經是三十年前的事情,很多文法我都忘記了!我會看,但是說,寫從來沒那麻好.偶爾去魁北克玩,因為大部分的當地人也會英語,所以比較少有機會練習法語,可惜!

The reason why I also posted a couple chiayi county's landmarks for you, mainly because I also read that friendly Canadian's request over at SSC who wanted to see Chiayi. Indeed, we don't know how long ago was he in Chiayi... since, he didn't specify!!

This means that if he was in Chiayi 20 years ago (when I was little) = there was no Chiayi City (thanks to KMT) only Chiayi County! Chiayi city will become part of Chiayi county as far as I see it by the end of this year after the re-district plan go into effect. So, for the purpose of this thread, I specifically focus on Chiayi City and the nearby Minhsiung of Chiayi county which used to be part of Chiayi city decades ago.

I lived in Chiayi between 1993 and 1999, teaching English in bushibans (補習班). I actually taught at four different bushibans: 牛津外語學院,地球村,先捷外語機構 and 世界美語. I wonder if you recognize any of those names?

My whole time in Chiayi I lived in three different apartments in 東洋別墅. That was a really nice area.
