I am born and living in the Netherlands. This year, I will get my masters degree in International Tax Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. I will use this study to become active in the international real estate investment market. I am focusing on emerging markets, and Ukraine is one of the most interesting ones.
The last 18 months, I have been in Odessa for about twelve weeks. Most of the time, I have been studying Russian on the Odessa Languague Study Centre (www.studyrus.com). No this will not happen because of 2 things. One is that Ukraine will be a subforum of future Rus forum and the other one is that all fighters will get banned immediately.
You have promised new members (dozens of them) and this is one of the main reasons why Ukraine got it's forum but this way I am worried you are using server space for nothing.
In future Rus forum you will have no worries and the activity will be on rise. Even fellow Kazakhstanis will join you.

No, I'm firmly against it. In fact, I would boycot this subforum and will encourage others to do so. If you close this one, we'll flood general euroscrapers subforums with our projects, which exceed almost every other country in Europe.

In two months "Urban Ukraine" got threads: 174, posts: 3,379

Let's take a look at Belgian subforum with threads: 429 posts: 9,201 - but in how long? It's less than three times as large, which means that we are far more active.

Russian subforum threads: 620 posts: 15,842

alright, less than 4 times as large, but once again, in how long? That's right, the activity then is similar.

Also, most if not all foreigners have no idea what Rus is, they will think that it's Russia. Thus the idea is nonsense.

Most of foreigns, afair, learn some history of east slavs in school. Anyway - they will go All Rus' section and will find that it is not only Russia.

As for Kazakhstan. We have forumers that already posting in russian section about kazakhstan, because they are russians. East slavs make 35% of kazakhstanian population and russian language is official there. when native khazakhs will join the forum - it could be moved to central asia.

что про секции. первыми под косу пойдум австрия и германия. они вольются в новую секцию с названием германоязычная. есть ещё несколько вариаций с другими секциями в том числе создание секции русь, куда будут перемещены секции из российской и украинской секций, а не будут удалены.

On behalf of Ukrainian forumers I ask for moderators to inform admins ( ? ) that we're asking for more time. In fact we are gaining members, the section is growing and it's not fair to close us down while we're still a pretty fresh part of the forum.

Joining in with a Russian section is so far not supported by even one Ukrainian member.

Actually this idea of "Rus" section is very strange, to say the least. Why isn't there "Roman Empire" section? Besides, it's not just Rus' but Kyivska-Rus'. There's no such thing as simply Rus', unless you're talking about Kyivs region. It's clearly a controversial issue and according to some theories Russia cannot be considered part of Rus', but Kazakhstan and other asian nations have absolutely nothing to do with Rus'.

Let's be honest, they just want to put us in new USSR format.

2. Существует много теорий о происхождении слова Русь, втом числе и твоя. Ещё от племени из скандинавии, которому Рюрик принадлежал. Ещё Русь от Русса ( столица Ильменских Славян. Рюрик перенес её в Новгород в 862 ). Ещё то, что это название было дано то ли Греками, то ли Византийцами, как народу ( Византийцы кстати и придумали Малую и Большую России ) итд итд итд.
3. Нет речь идёт о Белорусии, России и Украине. Казахстан моя идея так как пока у нас только Русские оттуда.

- Русь это во первых спорный вопрос. Есть теория которую описал ты, есть теория что это происхождение от реки в Киевской области, есть что Русь это вообще название города Киева, более древнее. Но так или иначе к Руси полностью можно отнести только Украину и Беларусь. Даже если взять отдельные области России (Новгород, Москву, Смоленск ) - всё равно выходит чёрт знает что, зачем делать форум в 21м веке основываясь на каком-то образном названии которое существовало Бог весть когда?

- Если уж у администрация есть огромное желание чего нибудь объединить, возьмите и с Сербами сделайте общий форум, они будут счастливы.

- Или если уничтожение украинского форума самоцель, тогда уже сделать огромный мега-форум всех славян, это включая и чехов, болгаров, словаков и т.д. а твой вариант (или не твой, не важно ) простая реанимация бСССР. Которая по меньшей мере противна почти всем украинцам (включая и русских которые представляют Украину ) и думаю многим русским.

Well, the Ukrainian forum has over 3 times as many posts as the Austrian forum... so if the Ukrainian section is under talks of closing, it should almost be definate that the Austrian section closes as well...

People there is no need for such a fuss. Take this as a call for new members that have been promised and don`t think too much about forum administration. If this forum gets developed nothing will be closed, merged etc.

This is a stupid idea. Leave this forum as it is. More forumers will come, give me more time. It is not easy. And I have experienced a very heavy workload that has just been lifted, so I can concentrate more on attracting new members. GIVE ME MORE TIME. No one will die if this forum is left as it is, no one will develop cancer either. So theres no need to fuss. And merging it with Russia is just complete and utter bullshit. Might as well merge a whole bunch of other forums.

You do know I don't understand Russian right? Take a look at your last page... how much is in English? Here is the only sentence of yours in English:

Мне трудно понять, каким образом объединение украинского и российского форума решит проблему фото-апдейтов "мертвых" тредов.

The Russians that are posting in this thread are posting in Russian... the Ukrainians are pretty much all replying to them in Russian. This thread is a perfect example of what will happen. The main conversations are all in Russian, with a little bit in Ukrainian and a little in English.

Bah! Just leave this section as is. The amount of people is increasing, and it is growing. I know a change isn't going to happen right away, but if this section is getting busier and busier, there shouldn't even be a consideration right now. It's not stagnating like the Austrian forum.

Точно! Грубый ответ на хамство провоцирует недоброжелателя на более активную словесную перепалку, порождает злобу и ненависть. А вот если мы научимся спокойно и уверенно ставить на место хамов или "врагов", как здесь писали, то это ничего кроме уважения на мой взгляд вызывать не будет... Или я слишком хорошего мнения о людях...Ну, по крайней мере бури негативных эмоций будут утихать. В этом плане есть чему поучиться у некоторых дипломатов. :)

Я перепрошую, але в Алчевську якраз крім трубопроводів гарячої води, що мусили побудувати ще хто зна коли, більш нічого не будується, та наразі й вони не дуже. Єдине що побудували це будиночок на Леніна за 2-м універсамом в 9 поверхів, але то вже було задавно років з 3 тому.

Никто про славянность не говорил тут. Просто ты задал странный вопрос с чего мы взяли что Украина это Русь, тогда как это помоему вообще никем не оспаривается, даже русскими фашистами. Русь это древнее название Украины, от реки Рось возле Киева.
