BAM is a dutch company. it's a very unusual view for frankfurt, that of course is dominated by german construction companies. the reason for this is probably because the developer is also dutch - MAB ...

I agree with goschio - it may not be the tallest of projects in frankfurt but it certainly is the most important because it is going to change pretty much everything in the heart of the city.

looks like the office tower has reached half the height.
the core of the hotel tower will also be at half height soon.
the roof of the shopping center is just spectacular.
the palace looks almost lost among its neighbors.

Nope. There will be little roofs below the "tube". And from the roof the will be small tubes that drain the rainwater!

I didn't think palaisquartier would add so much to the skyline. looking from the east (kaiserlei for example) it seems palaisquartier is part of the main cluster.

Wow, didn't see this project for a while! Looks amazing, another masterpiece for Frankfurt. Renders were a bit plain IMO, but the result seems to be great with good materials and details!

A rebuilt palace, a hotel tower, a tall office tower and warp-like mall: that should be great together... But it's not > it's amazing/fantastic/magnificent etc.!!

I wanted to visit FfM already, but now I'm sure I'm going to! Though not before 2010...

Absolutely stunning complex! The glasswork is just incredible...and how quickly this project has risen too - it was a mere collection of cranes and dust when I was last in Frankfurt :lol:

frankfurt is a mess. construction sites literally on every corner. I know, they're going to improve a lot once finished, but during this time the city isn't a very nice place. you can't walk a 100m without bumbing into another construction mess. obsticles everywhere.

Wow both towers are already completed, that's faster than i thought ...when i was in Frankfurt in December at least, it seemed they still had quite a way to go.
Both towers really look good, great design (I esp. like the multi-tiered construction of the office tower), though i don't like the small windows on the long side of the Hotel Tower so much, but still i gotta say that it looks great, it certainly gives Frankfurt's city-centre a new focus point, and enlarges the skyline to the east ( though IMO there should be more highrises between PalaisQuartier and the Commerzbank Tower, i hope that this will happen, but unfortunately probably not too soon...

This has made quite a bit of progress since I went to Frankfurt in the summer. They were digging holes in the ground still when I was there. The renders look fantastic but wouldnt it block that old tower from the Ziel and also the viewing platform on the Zielgalerie will lose visitors. Whilst the views are good from there, it will be blocked by this 90 metre tower. Anyway, the palace looks great and lets hope this thing shoots up. :bash:Frankfurt needs these towers.:bash:

the view won't from Zeilgalerie won't be blocked that much, because the tower is behind the Galerie, in a direction where the view already was partly blocked ;) the main view towards the skyline and the inner and southern city is still complete ;)

I thought the same, but as a compliment (because I thought you wanted the photo look like a render, because the photo looks really very clean which makes it quite unique). ;)

Thats good news. I was worried that the hotel tower would remain empty for some time. But with JUMEIRAH they have found a top tenant. :applause:

Very attractive and clean looking buildings. As a compliment (above remarks), I can also see how this looks like a render but that's no bad thing. I really like this design and it integrates well into this group of buildings too being a good height to stand out but not overly tall.

aber was ich mich jetzt frage wo der haupteingant des jumeirah hotels sein wird weil gleich neben den nebeneingang von mein zeil und der haupteingang von außen des kleineren türmes sieht man die hässliche wände der galeria kaufhof und der zeil galerie, bei einen luxus hotel sollte man so eine aussicht am ein. bzw ausgang nicht haben.

What's the beautiful, tree-lined boulevard? It looks like La Rambla in Barcelona.

That's the Zeil, the main shopping street in Frankfurt.
