I hear the union workers over at Tremblant are on strike now? Anyone know any details about what is going on there?
I was planning to go there for new years but not so sure now.

Efforts continue to end holiday strike at Mont-Tremblant
CBC News
Approximately 1,500 workers are expected to remain off the job Monday at Mont-Tremblant ski resort because of a labour dispute.
It comes in the midst of the busy holiday season.
Right now, the workers' union is looking over a new contract offer from the resort's management.
The resort said in a statement that it had tabled an offer of a five-year deal late Sunday afternoon. No details were made public.
"They're really working hard to get an agreement as soon as possible," resort spokesperson Lyne Lortie said in a telephone interview.
The workers, including housekeeping staff and people who groom the ski hills, walked off the job Saturday morning to protest against what they said was the slow pace of contract talks.
Skiers stood in long lineups on the weekend to take advantage of perfect skiing conditions — 41 centimetres of freshly fallen snow and relatively clear skies.

But the resort urged skiers to stay away as it tried to keep about 20 of 94 ski runs open.
The union had warned that if a deal wasn't reached within 72 hours, the resort could be shut down during its busiest season.
Mont-Tremblant normally makes about 40 per cent of its yearly revenues over the winter holidays, according the union's Jean Lortie. The resort's spokesperson maintains the winter holidays actually represent closer to 30 per cent of the operation's revenues.for the year.
The union wants the same contract as the one negotiated for hotel workers during the summer. That means a 15 per cent wage hike over three years, as well as improvements to vacations and sick pay, and the creation of a pension plan, the union said.
It said the average wage is $13.85 an hour, at least $2 an hour less than the pay for similar work in a larger centre such as Montreal.
