Umhlanga December 14th, 2006, 02:24 AM It has some industrial areas, to be sure. But the coastline really is pretty. No one will ever confuse it with Plett! I don't think Mosselbaai will ever be a tourist mecca, nor will the real estate there command phenomenally high prices, but I've had a few very relaxing lunches there over the years. It's a good place to stop between CPT and PE or East London.
I like this building.
Mosi-oa-Tunya December 14th, 2006, 05:54 PM Nautica is a multi-level beachfront residential property in Mossel Bay, offering a luxurious lifestyle and a great investment in an area still enjoying an upswing in property prices.
Situated on a peninsula that juts out eastwards into the Indian Ocean, Nautica has the unusual characteristic in South Africa of being North-facing, but having spectacular sea views: out over Diaz Strand towards the Outeniqua Mountains.
The site was previously the location of the Dolphin Bay Hotel, a popular Garden Route hotel for the past 8 years until it was bought out by Bedrock Property Developers. It is just 100 meters from the sea and 30 kilometers from George International Airport.
The development comprises 92 one-bed and two-bed sectional title apartments, with an average size of 82m2. The apartments will be fully furnished in a Classic Contemporary style that combines comfort with understated glamour and sophistication.
Communal facilites include a spa, internet cafe, gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, salon and business centre. To add to the relaxation for these residential holiday apartments, the complex also boasts 24-hour security and laundry & housekeeping facilities.
Mossel Bay is right in the centre of the famous Garden Route between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, an is easily reached via the airport at George. Nearby attractions include several of the country's best golf courses such as Fancourt and Pinnacle Point, the beautiful beaches on the Indian Ocean, nature trails through lovely green forests, big game viewing and adventure sports such as bungy jumping, abseiling and scuba diving. Mossel Bay's harbour offers whale watching, sunset cruises and sailing facilities, and is the only working commercial harbour in the Garden Route.
Prices start at R 875,000 for a fully furnished studio apartment.
Mo Rush December 15th, 2006, 12:51 PM mossel bay is an excellent place to relax, its really quiet and quiet and quiet and quiet. the protea hotel right on the beach is so cheap with awesome views. but u cant last for more than one week there.
