The two highrises is not at the Fuente O.. jud.. Its located in the Mango Ave area.. along the One Mango Square area....

Grabe na gyud sad kung magpakabutabungol ang Gaisanos sa real estate boom sa Cebu. Usa baya sila sa mga Cebuano nga naa gyuy pundo og K nga muinvest ani nga booming sector.

nindot unta bai betz nga patas-on pa ni nila miski mga 45 lang kay ubos man gud kayo na dihang dapita ilang site. ilang 37 og 39 storey kay mahog nalang na tingali og 28-30 storey kung tan-awon sa layo, basin murag motupong2x lang siya sa grand cenia or winland tower ba kaha...hehehe! bitaw at least naa kay sa wala...:):)

Actually dili na ubos diha na area kung imo jud tan-awon. Ang ubos na area kadto ra sa may sapa pero gamay rana siya compare elevated area.

Yes.. because.. everytime we say it and the skyline's changed... then after another year.. another changes occurs... It actually doesnt stop.. hehehe..
Medyo nag slow down lang sya on 2008-2009.. but came back with a vengeance on 2010... and hopefully more daring in the year 2011.:cheers:

Wow once compiled the magnitude of the construction boom is incredible! We are witnessing the transformation of Cebu from a skyline of a dozen scattered hi-rises o a concrete jungle. I was able to recall all on the list except this one...

True - 2007 was quite a boom year esp with the emergence of the Asia town cluster but yes it did slow down a bit last two years. But it seems that the boom of this year is comparable to combined construction activity of 2007, 2008 and 2009!

Cebu has changed a lot, that strip mall at the corner of mango and gen echavez was really a good investment for the owner, a lot of friends of mine told me never to invest in that area where my bldg is because of lorega but I thought this place is so close to the major business and leisure places in cebu. My bldg in that area is full for now their is no vacancy. The vacant lot beside that was sold to a Filipino Chinese businessman and wants to turn it into a pension house, while the vacant lot across the street was sold they said to a Filipino American, it's obena pension house before ,he is planning to turn it into executive apartments, so echavez is booming. The bldg right across mine is also quite new. Just a side bit the lots here where sold for one peso per sq meter during the 60s now the lot beside me was sold 10 million pesos I think that is 500 plus sq meter that was sold this year.

Most of my investment in the Philippines is in cebu but all of them are apartment units. I think cebu is the best place to invest in the Philippines our leaders are not friends at least they are civil, and overall they are competent. It has the amenities of a big city but with world class beaches waterfalls scuba diving site just a few hours if not mins away. And of course the extremely beautiful women that inhabits this cosmopolitan with cayman island feel to it.also crime is manageable. I am posting this to all my friends here in the states coz for all of you living there you certainly know what I mean.

nakabisita nako didto last week and the extension building is really gorgeous! mura ka'g naa somewhere in europe! and yeah, i agree its like a castle somewhere in france! ;)

when i was there, i could no longer picture out the way to which you'd see and kiss the statue of mary before kay giusab naman nila ang rota. taas na kaayo kag tuyukanan karon coz you'd be toured to the new building na. all those cabinets containing testaments, thanksgiving letters, newspaper articles pertaining to the miracles, pictures, and healing miracles, etc. are already placed inside huge glass cabinets. nanaghan na pud ang ilang mga santos! nindot na gyud kaayo siya! mura gyud ka'g nakasulod og palasyo or castilyo ba kaha! amazing gyud! well-decorated gyud ang ceiling! sosyal kaayo tanawon hasta ang mga chandelier! grabe!

I bought a land in pristine north it's in talamban by aboitizland. Anyone knows about this place? Is this a good place, maybe it's a flood, earthquake high crime area? I bought it coz it really looks good, but maybe I made a mistake.

Dili pa sad tingali bai oi. Mas daghan pa man ug dagko nga projects sa M. Manila karon. But I don't know about the next decade. Hehehe. But we have to be careful here. A part of me is scared at the prospect of an uncontrolled urbanization rate.

Above all else, I hope LIVABILITY will be the main consideration and of the primest importance.

:D ...one big project to watch out for is from Federal Land Inc., Metrobank's Real Estare arm...as per official press release published last week of August 2010, they will reveal their Cebu project before 2010 ends...

i was expecting this in time. previously they have disclosed a possible res. condo project at the metrobank acquired property near the Marco Polo Hotel Cebu...

I hope the 2 tower project will now push through..With the vibrant real estate in the industry particularly in the res condo.. i believe.. this is the best time for them to pursue their long planned projects.. :banana::banana:

As I see it...........

3 of the biggest mall chains in the Philippines will have another showdown of their finale expansions and new malls in Cebu City.

All on November 2010, it's between CBP, SRP and NRA. Ayala's expansion, SM's SRP mall and Robinsons Mall Maxilom in NRA.

Magdungan-dungan man ni sila unsa na kaha nawng sa SRP ug NRA nu......... tag 6 ka T-Cranes galinya sa usa ka lugar on both sides! syaro'g dle malipong's kadaghan!? hahaha........

disagree ko bai johnmar.. even dghan ug projects ang cebu.. mas dghan ug mas dagko ang projects in Manila... wa ra ta katunga.. hehehe

but surely.. with the success rate of Ayala Land, Robinsons Land, Filinvest and the local developers of their respective projects.. it will not be a surprise that many more Manila based developers like SMDC, Century Properties, Vista Land, Eton Properties, Megaworld etc, would follow suit in the near future... :)

i guess cebu needs new players in the real estate business para ma maximize gyud iyang development. kana unta nga magfocus sab ug entertainment dili lang mo cater sa may kaya para pud sa middle class or bisan walay class nga sugbuanon. lain man sab kaayo mora ug dili ba cristohanon nga ang mga projects and developments geared towards sa may kaya ra.

It's very tough for foreign investors to invest in a country that they will only own 40 percent of their investment and on top of that they must partner with a local who will own their business 60 percent would you do it in that country if you have the money?

Their is really no reason for trump, Wynn, bellagio, warldorfastorias not to be in the Philippines. This forty, sixty rule is really hampering us. Let us compete with the walmart, northwest, target, toys r us etc...... We will clean their clock, under our constitution we can't.

sir nagtinapulan ang asya design..ehehe! miski sa ilang aerial rendering, sa ka hi-tech sa panahon karon, sa kadali pagedit2x aning computer, wala nalang jud nila gi-consider ang actual location nga mabutang og insakto sa presentation...di jud ka makabalo sa orientation sa site kung asa nag-atubang o asa nga side and dagat....gihimo pa jud nilang kalasangan ang cebu city, at least they would have put the rendering in an urban/city setting, to really see how it looks like and fit in the the whole city environment... haaayzz nagtinapolan nang mga design firm karon, dako dako baya unta ni nga project..hehe duda ko wala tingali na kaanha sa actual site ang gadesign ana, igo ra siguro na gihatagan og Lot plan...:lol::lol: ahehe

Ang Phinma kay mid rise lang na sila and mga mid cost to low cost lang.. Avida type of condo ang housing projects.. Ang Eton, morag e pursue na nila ang kadto sa Mactan and probably the one in CBP although sa CBP dili jud na taas.

Ang DMCI lets watch out for it.. we will be surprised.

naanak kos mindanao pero my blood is dark red cebuano..hehe my father and mothers family are originally cebuano.. nanginabuhi lang silas mindanao...since bata pa ko naa na ko pirme cebu every summer vacation :)...and ive been here in cebu for 20 years... pero para nako mas lami paminawon ang dayig, og mahimong musika kini sa dunggan kung mabati kini nimo sa laing baba og dili sa kaugalingon.. charrrzzz:cheers:

diri sa long beach blocks from where i live, dunay aquabus para tour around the marina, naay river boat cruise aside from the tour boat nga moadto sa pacific ocean kadiyot ug mag dolphin/whale watching ug naa pud mga supercat diri catalana express viaje padulong catalina island and long beach or santa monica. kani nga style maka promote gyud ni local tourism kay nindot man kaayo ta ug harbor view sa cebu. hinaut dunay mo invest ani nga style nga business. ug duna pa diay fishing boat para sa mga kusog mangisda as a sport. daghan kaayong mga asians nga mokuyog sa fishing boat kahibalo nata nato kusog kaayo mokaon ug sea foods.
