Which Japanese top of the line do you prefer?

Lexus, because it's put out a gasoline/electric hybrid vehicle (RX400h), with another one on the way (GS450h) while Acura and Infiniti have lagged behind.

The Japanese cars are the best in the world.

I think Lexus is the best top of the line auto maker, also Acura and Infinti is good. I didn't know Subaru is top of the line? hmmm I thought it's just a regular like Honda, Toyota, etc.

They have honda nissan etc. here too, its just these are their luxury lines. And also they have lexus, acura, infinity in the middle east and asia too.

Lexus at the top, simply because they have cars that can compete in almost every segment with Mercedes, although it's a shame that their flagship sedan LS430 is a rip off of a W140 S class. Infiniti comes second, they don't have as many cars in their fleet as Lexus, but their Q45 is a formidable competitor of LS430. Acura among the three comes last simply because, it doesn't have anything to compete with neither Lexus nor Infiniti in the luxury segment. Unfortunatelly lack of V8 engine is what really sets Acura behind the two above auto makers. As for Subaru, although this company has great products, I don't think it is on the level of the other three mentioned.

Performance wise Lexus is the best... though i dont like their car designs..they dont look as luxurious as Merc S class or a BMW 7 series...but their SUV RX 330 looks best among all SUV's...Infiniti Q45 is amazing for the price it comes at... Acura just doesnt feel that luxurious..it looks of the same level as a Nissam Altima or a Maxima... Lexus overall is the best.

I don't see how anyone could be ignorant enough to say Japenese cars suck. They have had the highest quality and reliability average of any cars sold in NA ever since they have been available here. Don't believe me? Just pick up a Consumer Reports auto guide, a Kelly's Blue Book, or any other credible auto magazine. I've been a regular reader of such US publications as Car and Driver, and Motor Trend for over a decade, not to mention a number of Canadian sources, and it's clear that American cars are rarley equal or superior to Japenese autos (although I was actually a big fan of GM (lmao) before I educated myself). I'm not going to hi-jack the thread with stupid arguements, but I suggest you do a little research. And believe me it won't take very much.

Actually Lexus asks for not only the cars of highest quality but the service of highest quality. The employment standards for Lexus shopboys are 175cm tall or over, a long nose, double eyelids, not fat, not ugly and a high educational background.

I am personally a fan of German Cars more than Japanese (I have a VW) however, between these listed, I choose Infiniti...

Yes, naturally. But, the models that are branded Acura/Infinity in NA/Middle East etc., are branded with the original Nissan/Honda brand in Europe (for example - the Acura NSX is called Honda NSX in Europe). Toyota sells a numbers of models under the Lexus brand in Europe, though.

Lexus is pretty coll too, but most models are a bit ehmm.. feminem, and the rest is sort of Mercedes copies... but damn I still want one!

I drive an Acura but I think Lexus is the best from Japan and comes close to competing with the BMW, Benz, Audi.......

Along with the first three luxury brands of the poll, and in addition to Toyota, Subaru must be among the best car manufacturers from Japan.

Nissan, Mazda and the others are good enough, but they should be placed at a different level.

I agree with you. basically I am not a huge fan of jap car. however Infinity nissan would be the pick of the bunch.

I like Acura and Infiniti and don't know very much about Lexus because they are not available in the mexican market. But what I have seeing at the States I choose Lexus for sure.
