Maybe after they build them they will look ok. Still the Farsi family in Jeddah have horrible flavor on architecture but very smart and luxuries internal overlook.

Errm, that's the corniche road, it's hardly a highway. Most main roads in Jeddah have six lanes. The location of that monstrosity is actually pretty excellent. Which makes it all the more worse that such a hideous thing could be built at such a prestigeous location.

The finishing is sandstone, white marble, and glass. Still an ugly and overpowering building.

Lets wait to see the final output. We cant judge by the render's colors.

This project has been assigned to SGAPCO as an aluminum fabricator and to ALJADAANI Glass Factory as a glass fabricator.

the combination of glass used in this project: Eclipse Advantage Broze ( a reflective with low-e on bronze tinted glass) doubled with bronze tinted.

wow! you could see it from almost 5km away?? that's pretty amazing!! i guess that says 2 things, 1. jeddah doesn't have much smog from pollution and 2. it doesn't have enough tall buildings to block the view :lol:

First of all the helipads are a requirment from the baladia and they are used in emergancies and if the owner of the penthouse owns one. also the renderings were not presenting the real color well i think they were forced to a deadline or something. however the farsi group buildings are the onlyones in jeddah that have been sold completly as in every single unite before completion. also if you see the floor plans what i understood is that their main concern was to creat an apartment that would be suitable for the SAUDI FAMILY because of all the culture that is involved. also about the pool being in the back i asked and it was said that there is a wall around the entertainment area anyways because of our culture and privacy needs so why not put it in the back and use up all the land!!!!! why dont we wait and see when its done?

^^we just hate the exterior design that all anyway the real one much better the render.

Yes i must admit these are not exactly 21st centuary, however it is intended as part of a greater modernization of the sea view. None the less unlike some incompitant unsers on the site who claim Saudi is Backward i do belive that projects in cities like Jeddah on the whole are way above satisfactory. the Bahraini dood(Pune intended) needs to get over his complexity problem and face the reality Saudi is a by far a superior economy than that of miniscul Bahrain which can only realy on the Drunk and ascoiated spree economy ;)

this building reminds me of the hyatt in dubai...anyone know what i'm talking about? the hyatt looks better but they have some similarities..

Saudi firefighter dies after high-rise tower plunge

A Saudi firefighter has died after falling from a high-rise building under construction in Jeddah.(Al-farsi towers)

The rookie fireman died immediately after the accident which happened during a routine exercise on Wednesday, a civil defense spokesman said.

It is not known what caused the accident. The Civil Defense decided to carry out the drill after Tuesday’s fire in a high-rise building under construction close to the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Arab News reported on Thursday.

The fire that raged through the top 10 floors of the Hagar Tower, which is part of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project, resulted in no deaths or injuries.

“Ayish Al-Subaie died in the line of duty when he fell from the balcony on the 32nd floor of a building located on the North Corniche at around 9am during a routine exercise,” said Civil Defense spokesman Captain Abdullah Al-Amri.

All of Al-Subaie’s colleagues were on the roof of the building and it is not clear what he was doing on the 32nd floor.

I think thaey should change the exterior designs......

if i see this tower for the first time iam not gonna recognize which side is the front or the back!

When you see the tower in person.. it doesn't look bad at all.. it actuallly has it's own style... I like it...

صراحة لازال عندنا شوية همجية والعتب على البلدية مو مالك المشروع شوف شكل الملصقات على المحلات بشكل همجي شوهت شكل البرج مشروع ريادي فخم ماهو زي عمارة عادية ناقص ويحط على المحلات شبك زي االي على البقالات العادية الي شوهت واجهات شوارعنا كاني بدخل زنزانة مو محل مع ان تصميم هذا البرج من اول ماشفته مشي حالك كان باستطاعت مالكها بتكلفته ومساحته بدل هذة الابراج الثلاثة كان بنى برجين منفصلة مثلا من خمسين طابق بتصميم جميل وارتفاع معقول
ولاتهون ابراج المسارات الي متلاصقة في بعضا كان سوى ناطحة سحاب بالمرة او على الاقل برجين من 50 او 60 طابق لكل برج
