Hope everybody had a good time!

1) Impressed by the number of tourists in Mtl - streets were filled with Yanks. Pubs, clubs and strip joints were overflowing. An international flavour to the party atmosphere is always welcome. West Island kids is not enough ;)

2) Not impressed that public transportation was not extended overight. City really dropped the ball on this one. I understand it is expensive and workers want to enjoy themselves but with -15C, taxis are the only option unless you want frostbite. And taxis are freaken expensive ...

3) Not impressed with Old Port celebrations. It was too cold for any outdoor event - ban this sort of thing until global warming gives us a temperate North Carolina climate. And music sucked unless you like traditional Quebecois music which I am not fond of to say the least.

4) Conclusion: should have paid $115 for Centre Bell event or organize a road trip to Big Apple.

Syrian party in Laval.

the Bell center was friggin great and jam packed, the atmosphere was alright, the organization were excellent. Lots of tourists.

The W had the most beautiful crowd, maybe too beautiful, but I can't complain, really. Good music and ambiance.

The redlite had the most trashed people, but the ambiance was explosive and the dj destroyed the place... which was great.

The syrian party was alright, arrived just in time for the main dish, ate, and left right after midnight.

All in all, amazing NYE, met alot of people from out of town, and they all enjoyed themselves to the max. they'll be back ;)

^^ In what order did you do this? ;) From what I know centre Bell bash ended at noon, no?

How did you like Steve Lawler (listening to him as I am writting this ;))

PS. Out of towners enjoyed themselves too; it was crazy how many people asked me for direction.

i missed lawler because the bastard ended his set at 7:15 and I arrived there for the second time at 8:00.... second time he does that in montreal.
