It's about a 16 year old teen who took "immersion journalism" trip to Banghdad to complete his high school essay. He did not tell his parents that he would travel to a archaic city but insisted in travelling by using 900 bucks he saved up. He travelled on a connection route via Amsterdam to Kuwait and once he was there he complained that the taxi driver ripped him off by stopping at Iraq-Kuwait border.

Then his parents told him to travel to Beirut in which he did to meet up with relatives but they actually helped him to travel to Banghdad International Airport. He then stayed at a local hotel and asked a menu at the restaurant, astoundingly looked ignorant because he couldn't speak Arabic so the crowd starred at him being puzzled. He made it to Associated Press office where they delived him to to US Embassy at the Green Zone.

I wonder what he'll get for his essay. I would feel insulted if i get anything lesser than a full mark. He e-mailed his essay to his teacher when he arrived at Kuwait Airport.

What a crazy d00d. If his teacher doesnt feel at least the slightest bit intimidated then somthings wrong.

I wonder what he'd actually write in the essay itself. It didn't seem like he had much of an encounter worth writing about.

What a failure, he can't even plan a trip properly.

I think he is a f***en Idiot for going. Not only was he endangering his life but if he was kiddnapped there would have been a alot of problems. But maybe he would have been safe as his parents are both Iraqi.
