Due to historical height restrictions, the tallest building in Kuwait was 20 stories. However, a recent change in that law paves the way for the 30-story Kuwait Finance Tower to be one of the country's tallest buildings.

Taking the height issue into consideration, the architect sought to create a tower that represents the region in an unobtrusive manner. Design inspiration came from swells of the Persian Gulf. While all life depends on water for survival, arid climates are particularly sensitive to the ebb and flow of this natural resource. Therefore, the reflection of the Gulf waters in the tower's glassy façade is even more appropriate.

There are buildings u/c that are more than 30 stories at the moment in Q8, so this one isn't the first to break that height barrier. It's a a nice one though.

Im starting to get a fan of bahreini and kuweiti projects and i;m starting to hate the dubai and qatar projects (they are a bit to much and a bit takkie if you would ask me) but i;m loving the kuwaiti projects

i love the way that buildings in istanbul tel aviv kuweit bahrein and iran are being build with consideration of cultural haritage

I really like this tower because of its wide facade .. it reminds with alraia. although al awadi tower is taller than alraia, I see alraia more domenationg in kuwait city

They seem to be working on the 36th floor that means that they've got something like 4 floors left floors to go :)

Actually I never thought of that. But it seems possible. The problem with this tower is that we have no info whatsoever about it. I mean we don't even know if it's the tallest tower in Kuwait at the moment or not !

the tallest tower in kuwait is libration tower :jk:

i guess since it is the first 40 floors in kuwait, it would be the tallest .. but what I don't know if this tower will contain a mall or not. Because as I recall .. some towers in specific areas in kuwait city aren't allowed to contain a commercial space like Aldow tower.

Hey guys, all I know is that the tower is 40 floors high. The tower is 38 floors and 2 floors for the crown. Thats all i really know ;/ sorry to dissapoint u but i promise as soon as i get any updates i will post them ASAP :)

this is not Aldeira tower anymore ,they changed the name into ............., i cant really remember .the new name have something to do with KFH that is the only thing that i can recall.
