Two of three bridges plying between Rajahmundry and Kovvur over Godavari River.
The older one is called the Havelock Bridge was built in 1900 and is now decommisioned.
The new bridge is constructed by the Hindustan Construction Company (HCC). It is a unique bridge that is based on 28 bow string arch girders with equal spans of 97.5 m, thus making the total length 2.730 km. The bridge is fit for 250 kmph services.
