Al Emadi Tower

Located in the business centre of Doha, the Al Emadi Tower is an 18-storey rotunda office building offering 18,000 square metres of space. The building features two basement levels and provides parking for over 200 cars.

“This tower has a radial plan and circular glazed perimeter, with an exposed circular core that appears to be scooped out from the main rotunda mass. It promises to be one of the more striking towers on the Doha skyline,” describes GHD’s Architectural Group Manager in the Middle East, Ihab Inany.

GHD was engaged by Mohamed Ali Al-Emadi to deliver the architectural design, engineering and documentation, as well as contract administration through to final completion.

Guys, do you think it is really "one of the more striking towers on the Doha skyline"!?

i don't know, i mean the strong lights gives it a magnificent look, yet, i don't know how it w'd look like during daytime. but i've seen the same design somewhere, but can't remember where. looks very familiar.

GHD is not known for groundbreaking design or innovation, and Al Emadi is not exactly a high quality developer........

I kinda like it to be honest. Nice and simple !

Thanks XP appreciate your comments to update the threads. Yes this tower has been completed recently and changed names in the meantime:D I just wish towers on the other side of the street could be developed... however there seems to be a fenced military complex or something (maybe you know what I'm talking about?), it looks awful in West Bay. Please move it out and build towers in line with what is all around, West Bay can't look like a CBD area as long as that complex is still there..
