Ford's Oakville plant is getting a new lease on life, but major question marks are still hovering over Talbotville and Windsor.
The embattled automaker plans to spend one (b) billion dollars on the plant to make two of its new models -- the Ford "Edge" and the "Lincoln M-K-X".

The plant, which now makes the Freestar minivan, will be reconfigured to become the company's first flexible assembly plant in Canada.

The new cars will be on the market later this year.

But Ford Canada president Bill Osborne is refusing to discuss the future of the company's other Ontario plants in Windsor, St. Thomas and Brampton.

A January 23rd restructuring announcement is expected to bring massive layoffs and plant closures.

Isn't it widely known they are going to close the Windsor plant?
