I can see a board that has some kind of a render on the bottom left corner of the first picture. You might want to take a close picture of it.

This tower will be an office tower and will have 21 floors. It is owned by Awtad Real Estate and is located on Fahed Al Salem St. The total cost of this project will be KD 6m (US $ 18m).

Thanks for the update Skoulikimou. The tower looks great. They appear to have already started working on the last floors of the tower. I wonder what will be in those floors. Maybe the office of the chairman or something :)

If I'm not mistaken, Al Muthana Mall which is right next to this project has a multi-storey carpark so I hope that that solves your parking problem :)

no way .. in fact almuthanna is better looking than these glass covered buildings.

Almuthana talks about an era in kuwait .. so are other low rise buildings in the street, I prefere renovating them rather than pull them down for another 30 stories building

the street would look like Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai if we pull everything down and put up a huge monolith. it'd be congested and these towers wouldn't look special anymore.

the Muthana Complex has been around for a while, so it does speak of days gone by. but maybe it'd be nice if the owners invested in an exterior reconstruction/renovation of the place to give it a new and modern look. that wouldn't hurt, would it?

hey Kuwait Patriot, I couldn't agree with you more .. as you said .. these buildings are the only thing that say kuwait is different than dubai and duha. Unfortunatly, niether architects nor owners care about this issue.. what they want is more shiny blue buildings that do not have architecural concepts.

the buildings around awtad tower are quite nice in fact they portray an era of kuwait and I suggest they either stay that way or change the windows adding green class instead of those black ones, it would make it look great!
