Best image I could find for my town of Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Built in 1998 after Sainsburys purchased the land on which the previous town hall was situated on.

Out of league compared to the townhalls shown thus far, but still not bad looking - Sliven, Thrace, Bulgaria. Each day, at exactly 12:00, the clocktower trumps the melody of an old revolutionary song, calling the Bulgarians to rise against the Turk. Note the coat of arms.

This is the old (built 1857) city hall in the City of Galt, now part of the City of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. It's undergoing a well-needed renovation. The new one is just visible behind it to the left. The old one now houses the city archives.

The City Hall of Rotterdam, The Netherlands was built in 1920 as the winner of a contest in 1912. The City Hall was built to replace the older, 16th century City Hall that had become too small.

The City Hall is one of the few buildings that survived the bombing of Rotterdam in World War II (1940), which fully destroyed the city center. Amazingly, the City Hall survived completely undamaged. The old City Hall however, did not and was lost in the fires along with hundreds of other historical buildings.
The building retains it's function as the primary City Hall up to this day, however some extensions (the Municipal Buildings) have been made in the 1950's and 1980's. The portion built in the 1980's is going to be replaced by a new Municipal Building designed by Rem Koolhaas.

The Cityhall of Franeker. Built in 1591 in renaissance style. I grew up in Franeker. A very historic town in Friesland, a province in the norh of the Netherlands.
