China_winson January 16th, 2006, 07:21 AM Wow... thax for sharing... I would post them to "Great China's Malls"... hkskyline January 17th, 2006, 04:50 AM http://www.globalphotos.org/hongkong/20051002/OCT02-S01-090.jpg http://www.globalphotos.org/hongkong/20051002/OCT02-S02-0001.jpg http://www.globalphotos.org/hongkong/20051002/OCT02-S02-0003.jpg http://www.globalphotos.org/hongkong/20051002/OCT02-S02-0009.jpg http://www.globalphotos.org/hongkong/20051002/OCT02-S02-0011.jpg http://www.globalphotos.org/hongkong/20051002/OCT02-S02-0012.jpg China_winson January 17th, 2006, 08:52 AM IFC mall, it is wonderful, but it is a little bit desolate... superchan7 January 18th, 2006, 12:19 AM I wonder how IFC mall and its stores make money. They're all upscale stores and there aren't enough customers. raymond_tung88 January 18th, 2006, 01:37 AM I wonder how IFC mall and its stores make money. They're all upscale stores and there aren't enough customers. Same way the stores in Plaza 66 in Shanghai earns money... they don't really. I'm a little surprised this happens in Hong Kong. I thought big name brands would have tons of potential buyers... I guess its cause they already have too many stores. Plus the ifc mall is kind of in an inconvenient location compared to the others such as Times Square, Harbour City, and Festival Walk? Manila-X January 18th, 2006, 03:24 AM I wonder how IFC mall and its stores make money. They're all upscale stores and there aren't enough customers. Probably from those who work with IFC and surrounding areas :) Just like the Cyberport! hkia January 18th, 2006, 04:02 AM I don't know about the shops, but we went to the Spaghetti House there on a weekday at lunch time and it was crowded. Had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. Manila-X January 18th, 2006, 09:01 AM Oh yeah Spaghetti House! One of my favorite pizza places in HK :D China_winson January 19th, 2006, 08:44 AM I wonder how IFC mall and its stores make money. They're all upscale stores and there aren't enough customers. have no idea... China_winson January 19th, 2006, 08:46 AM Any Macau's Malls??? Manila-X January 19th, 2006, 09:19 AM Any Macau's Malls??? That would be in the Macau forum :) Anyway, as with the IFC issue. Those who work in Central proper, like the surrounding areas of Statue Square would prefer shopping or dining in nearby areas like Princess Building or The Landmark. I don't think most of them would wanna all the way to IFC unless that's where they go to commute. Even in the MTR Central Station, it's still a long way to walk to reach IFC that is if you're in Statue Square and don't wanna walk in the hot summer day! Most shops you'll find in IFC are also likely to find it in The Landmark or Pacific Place. IFC mall will still get customers working in either IFC, Jardines House, Exchange Square or tourists staying at the Four Seasons Hotel. Also those taking The Airport Express and would wanna do a last minute shopping :) China_winson January 19th, 2006, 11:30 AM but it is Hong Kong (香港) & Macau (澳門) Forums here, isn't it??? Manila-X January 19th, 2006, 11:34 AM but it is Hong Kong (??) & Macau (??) Forums here, isn't it??? True but HK and Macau are separated to two sections :) China_winson January 19th, 2006, 06:42 PM IC, Thanks... |
