Must be worst than sitting on a crowded KMB non A/C bus in the summer though. ~

Actually, HK's Sogo is owned by the Lifestyle International Holdings (http://www.lifestylehk.com.hk/) from a HK Chinese Businessman since 2001. It is no longer owned by the Japanese. HK's Sogo IS STILL HAVING A PROFIT since its opening. :|

But it still sells Japanese products such as food, clothing and books. That's where I buy most of my manga :)
Anyway, Sogo is still strong! Alot of Japanese department stores have closed in HK!
sfgadv02 January 19th, 2006, 01:48 AM I love Sogo because of their higher class clothing. ;) Also, where is the new Sogo in TST located??

pookgai January 19th, 2006, 03:29 AM OMG they replaced the palace mall!!!!!! Thankfully something useful has been put down there. That ex-shopping mall was rediculously unsuccessful.... I remember when they turned it into some Bear Kingdom thing.... lol who ever thought up of that should be slapped!
rt_0891 January 19th, 2006, 03:49 AM ^^ Ja, That place was sad.
Manila-X January 19th, 2006, 04:40 AM I still prefer the Sogo in Causeway Bay :D But the bus looks nice though!
spicytimothy January 19th, 2006, 04:59 AM ooooooo it's there! yeah that place sucked when I went @ 2002
Manila-X January 19th, 2006, 10:21 AM I don't even go there. And unfortunately, I don't even wanna go to that Sogo.

The entrance is right next to InterContinental Hotel, but the store itself is all underground.
