is there still the need? I remember them talking about it back in the late 90s a lot, but i thought they say it's impossible, how one side u got the mountains and the other side is like Shum Chen or sth? iono...

in any case, the West Rail is opened already... is there still a need to widen the road?

Problem is barely anyone takes the KCR West Rail from what I heard. The location of the station sucks so bad. Especially Tsuen Wan West. That station is so isolated out-of-nowhere.

well thaz just coz the gov't forced the 2 railways to stop selling above-station property... there are a lotta room for more buildings around the new stations... i think it just takes some time for the green minibuses and stuff to reroute to the stations...

aren't ppl fed up with the Tuen Mun Freeway? I hate it...

Tuen Mun Road needs wider SHOULDERS. So many accidents because of a blind curve and a broken-down truck sitting on the shoulder, causing deadly accidents because of the high speed.
