With all these incredible projects in the pipeline, and since my job took me to Tampa last year..........Im curious as to what is going up for sure...........and what is still only "proposed"

Does anyone want to start a list of projects that are under construction and a "sure thing"?

This could make for a very helpful thread and perhaps people could add to it as projects break ground.

didnt that bank project going up around sunset get axed? and theres some stuff going on at the south miami metro station

The bank project got axed but on the 57 ave side, office complex is under construction w a whole foods on ground level.

Yes the one just east of Sunset Place (across 57th ave) is Under Construction but it will only be like 5 stories. There is a dozen other similiar sized office buildings also UC in South Miami but not really worth mentioning here or this list would get really really long if we did that for the whole Miami area.

Yes Dave :wave: , I took a ride down Sunny Isles beach yesterday, This is the biggest boom yet on the beach, Yes to Ocean 4, up to 30 floors and growing, Yes to Jade Beach :bow: , or is that Jade Ocean , lol, on its way up now, also Trump started his first tower in the three trump towers project south of the huge topped off now LaPerla Condo :( tower, oh, did I mention the Sole on the Beach :cool: at www.solemiami.com its up to its 5th floor, Sayan on the Ocean :okay: is rising, and so is Turnberry Ocean Colony # 2 :applause: tower, just started with its foundation, I say " Go Cranes !!! EPIC Hotel :righton: has starting drilling in the Foundation :okay: , Its huge and this tower will rise faster than any other tower, believe me, Its going for the sky. :applause:
Also was Downtown at 5:30 pm for the Brickell development meeting at the CONRAD Hotel,, very nice and got to see Carlos Rosso, vice president of Related Group, He says More is on its way, including 500 West Brickell and Downtown Lofts 3. :hm: :wave: :hi:

Everyone :grouphug: , Friday, March 31st, I was driving around the Great site Of MIDTOWN :applause: , Wow !!! , I'm very impressed here, What could of been a " Dull and Boring Quiet :down: " baseball stadium almost 9 years ago by the B.S. Wayne Huizienger :bash: , Has turned out to be the most
" Densed " construction area in Miami-Dade County !!! :cheers1:

I mean it :llama: , everyone :grouphug: , take a look for yourself, there's moving vehicles and construction men working at each corner of this huge old F.E.C. Mega Railroard Yard of the 1920's. :righton:

MIDTOWN FOUR :cool: has finally gone Vertical with two yellow tower construction crane bases already in.
MIDTOWN Midblock :cool: has two floors to go before reaching its heights, and what a long bulky tower this one has become, At first, I thought this tower was a joke to start with, but it will be the first to open later this year, 2006.
MIDTOWN SHOPS :cool: , Wow, what a Gamble !!! Will this Newest Mall of Miami-Dade county make it into the profit that other county malls such as Aventura And Dadeland make ??? We'll soon find out later this year when it finally opens with a New Super Target.
MIDTOWN THREE :cool: , inside the sales center , which is Huge, and a beautiful display of the WHOLE Midtown Project on a living room size table with a view that looks like a " City Itself ", with a streetcar going down the the middle soon. The sales ladies inside told me, that Midtown three is more than 65 % sold out, and forget about Midtown Two and Four, both Sold Out !!!
MIDTOWN TWO :cool: , Very tall already and looks to me it has almost topped out and still they just raised the yellow tower construction again this past weekend at the Wachovia tower cam at www.herald.com, taller than the Blue Condo just a few blocks away on N.W. 36 street. And the streeet itself is under construction from I-95 all the way to the BAY, Half closed and stay away from this area if your a tourist, Forget it , its a traffic nightmare.
