I never said it's in Mexico - I just said Acapulco is a very good guess (according to the landscape shown on the pic) and that you were right with a colonial city. No one got even the country yet and it's not even visible on your ENTIRE map ;)

Acapulco: it's also on the west coast in this area and the lanscape on the pic reminded me also of it (more than Panama). But it's because in this time the painters tended to exagorate and even invent mountains to make the place look more romantic ;)

BTW: After Panama city got distroyed in the 17th century (I think ;)) The rebuild the city nearly 10 miles from the original location... that became today's Panama City.
