Great Aerials. I wish I took some when I flew into FLL. Do you have any from the CBD?

Gotta love the traffic

My guess is this was taken at about 3pm before the traffic really snarls?

Sorry, I was sitting on the left side of the plane and the plane approached MIA from East to West and the CBD was on the other side.

Awesome pictures DP.... that approach to MIA on that diagonal runway takes plans right over the Ocean Bank headquarters on Le Jeune and NW 7th. When i used to do summer internships at the bank, i would love going to the roof of the parking garage and watch the plans approach and fly over head. It was loud lol

Awesome aerials! Traffic on the Dolphin is always hell. It's even worse between 5:30-7 PM.

Is Blue Lagoon the area with the mid rises to the south of the airport (kind of north of Coral Gables closer to a runway)?

Nice shots BTW!

I would think also it was made by pulling out the material that went into raising the Airport land so it doesn't flood and flattening out the Airport land as well.
