The construction of this tower has also started few months ago. It's located on King Fhad Road as well, two blocks away from SABB's regional office.

lol. Apparently you use an ip proxy and your ip was similar to someone elses and one of the administrators banned you...same with Riyadhi. I told them to unban you when I noticed it, welcome back. ;)

^ He lives in KSA and one needs to connect via a proxy server in order to surf Inet - they may be using the same ISPs. Anyhow, I'm glad he got unbanned... this place was getting a bit inactive. :)

Coooool.....yaah saw it yesterday,the pillar has emerged now.....i wonder y the kingdom has changed the way of construction!!!!!!!!!!! now a days...........when any high rise building is being constructed,they always build the FAT & UGLY pillar first...whether it's AL FARSI TOWERS, CORNICHE DREAMS TOWER,MA'ALAM WATER TOWER etc.............but as well as ABRAJ AL BAIT is concerned,it's going higher without any PILLAR FIRST........i simply don't understand thier logic

What exactly do you mean by "pillar"? A picture would help... the tower looks pretty good in my opinion!

The tower is a coventure between the Hugayat Group & the Engineering Division of the A.A Turki Group.

Total investment will be SR 100,000,000 ($ 27,000,000)

It will be the second tallest office block in Al-Khobar

The building will be 32 floors + 2 underground floors.

Structural Height will be 100m (or an average of 3.125m per floor)

The tower will have a parking deck with parking capacity for 400 cars

Saudi Guy, I have a feeling that you have had an encounter with security in Saudi Arabia over taking photos, am I right?

No, they didn't ask anything, but they were looking at me like I was planning something, I just acted calm and walked off.

But two days before I took a really nice photo of Dhahran Tower (U.C) and there is a new building right next to it with really heavy security, they came up to me and told me to delete the photo. They were really polite, and they appologized, but they said due to the current situation that I should delete the photo.

I'm guessing some big American company or something of the sort has office in there??

By the way I forgott to mention that

Total Construction Period will be 810 day

Thus, the building should be complete sometime around next December
