As part of the new Westbars Riverside Quarter this twenty story tower designed by Jestico Whiles Architects (http://www.jesticowhiles.co.uk/) contains a boutique hotel beneath exclusive residential apartments, linked by a shared Winter Garden.

A central atrium spanning the twenty floors allows plentiful daylight into the heart of the building and creates a lively focus for the tower.

The building is wrapped in shimmering double skin of frosted glass, giving translucency along with optimum environmental peformance.

Strategically placed strips of clear glass animate the facade giving tantilising glimpses of the surrounding views from the hotel bedrooms, apartments and circulation areas.

Gives soem density to the area but it looks a bit stubby for 20 storeys.

That's because it looks to be 18 storeys.

Quite a basic design, but a curved glass wall of that height will look good in any any lighting conditions.

Love the curves. We need more curvy buildings.
